Worst car shopping experience by far. What crooks! I drove to the Nemer Glens Falls on a Monday regarding a used vehicle on their website. I drove the vehicle, liked what I saw, and then thought I succ drove to the Nemer Glens Falls on a Monday regarding a used vehicle on their website. I drove the vehicle, liked what I saw, and then thought I successfully negotiated a deal to purchase this used 4X4 by negotiating a fair price on my trade with Mr. Steven Ball, salesman, and Mr. Carl Frost, sales manager. We arranged to have the closing on Wednesday. They accepted $650 in cash to secure the deal. Mr. Ball and I spoke over the phone Wednesday morning. He he assured me everything was all set, and the terms were the same as discussed on Monday evening. Mr. Ball assured me that I would have "the smoothest car purchase I have ever experienced". When I arrived we quickly began signing DMV documents; including my title. Then we migrated to the fees, disclosures and sales contract. Only to discover that they raised the price of the vehicle from the internet price. Mr. Ball stated, "we didn't negotiate the price of the vehicle." I stated during Monday's negotiation that I would pay the internet price and would not negotiate the price down from the price that was listed on the internet. I accepted their fair internet price and that was verbally stated by me multiple times, and Mr. Ball heard that clearly, but he's a liar. I refused to pay more than the agreed upon internet price for the vehicle, Mr. Frost claimed that they negotiated the price of my trade based on a higher value. This type of bait and switch technique is shady and lacks integrity. I took time off from work to close this deal. I would not do business with Nemer Glens Falls. My overall experience was a total waste of valuable time. Before leaving Mr. Ball offered me $20 for my gas expenses. I politely refused. I drove up there to purchase a vehicle not get a handout of gas money. I traveled a total of over four hours between Monday and Wednesday making round trips between my house and their dealership. They issued me a receipt for the $650 deposit stating the check will arrive in the mail in a few days. I remained cool headed, left and headed down the road. After several miles I realized that they never gave me my signed title and lien release letter back. I turned around to get my documents, but this time I recorded the interaction with my iPhone. Mr. Ball is on record for stating he never saw the internet price and stating that they must have lowered the price on the internet after we negotiated the deal. With my documents in hand I prepared to leave. Mr. Ball wanted to shake my hand. I hesitated for a moment, because of COVID, and he immediately stated that he felt disprespected that I wouldn't shake his hand. Give me a break, Mr. Steven Ball. Is this your idea of a smooth sales experience? If someone high up at Nemer wants to review my audio recording I would be glad to reveal the shady techiques these guys employ. Avoid shopping at Nemer Glens Falls. Their word mean absolutely nothing. They don't deserve your business or your valuable time. More

They have pestered me via telephone on my home phone, my cell phone, my email and through the mail. I have repeatedly told them I do not want to sell my used vehicle and and not to contact me. And now a woman just hung up on me because I was berating her. If I have to deal with your continuous interruptions after multiple times of telling you to stop, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO HANG UP ON ME!!!! You will never sell me or anyone else in my family another vehicle. I recently purchased an extended cab pickup truck... from another dealership. I learned my lesson. More

What a horrible experience.I brought in 2012 jeep rubicon, after a diagnostic the issue came back as a short from the alternator. So, I went ahead had a oil change and halo lights installed i was giv rubicon, after a diagnostic the issue came back as a short from the alternator. So, I went ahead had a oil change and halo lights installed i was give Monday November 2nd that the work would be completed. Nov. 2nd came around and passed no call or updates. So, both my grandfather and I drove by the dealership everyday until the 5th. And any time we drove by the jeep was in the shop with doors and hood wide open. And, what happens when you leave doors and hoods open the lights are on and draining the battery. When I finally got the jeep back at closing on the 5th, the battery was dead. A issue that wasnt present before this visit. Now, I am in a forced position to buy a battery at a premium. 24hrs. Later on the 6th at closing I got the jeep back. And, within 1 mile there was smoke coming from under the hood due to a sloppy oil change and ABS sensors going off. Remember, be fore the diagnosis was a alternator and now ABS sensor goes off. Now, I drop the jeep off on the 6th, the following morning I am told I need to pay $120 to diagnose a issue that was cause by the work and hands involved. Just a pure scam! More
