I recently purchased a car from the Ellicott City location and I have to say that the whole process went very smooth. I have never had a Car purchase that went as well as this one. I left Liberty Ford because it seemed like they were not trying to sell a car. Had no issues , great service and great price on the car and they moved us through quickly. After many attempts at a local established Cadilac /Chevrolet dealer to buy a used car we were frustrated at the and they moved us through quickly. Even though there there were some initial issues that needed to be addressed with the Honda Element (some of which were related to state inspection), the staff worked diligently to correct them. They helped me find what I was looking for and got me an affordable price at a great rate. The car I bought is in almost new condition and runs great with low mileage. I will be a return costumer. Research not only the type of car you want but also the dealership. We wish we had done that. This dealership is not listed with the BBB but on a scale A-F has a BBB rating of "F" there have been 17 comp dealership. We wish we had done that. This dealership is not listed with the BBB but on a scale A-F has a BBB rating of "F" there have been 17 complaints in 3-years. If only we had checked this before the purchase. They are obviously not concerned with repeat costumers, because if they were they would treat costumers with more respect and be more up front and kind. There is a $900 fee for reconditioning the car and yet we were sold a car that had only one key which was in poor condition, no drivers manual and although we had been assured the tires were in good condition we have found all four to be dry-rot. Sure the treads were farely decent but dry-rot still. If you are traveling from another state to purchase in MD please know that Maryland has no cool off period for automobile purchases, once you sign there is no way to return the vehicle unless the dealership offers a return policy National does not. The sales men and sales manager were friendly, but the attention to detail with paperwork was non existant which was to our detriment. Dealing with one of the owners to rectify problems was stressful due to her lack of concern for people who are spending thousands of hard earned dollars despite financial hardships. More
