I purchased my 2009 Mazda 6 from the dealership, and was sold a separate plan that was to cover all maintenance issues for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles. The first 2 times I brought it in, everything w sold a separate plan that was to cover all maintenance issues for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles. The first 2 times I brought it in, everything went fine. I just signed a piece of paper and was on my way. The third time, they started telling me about all the things that were no longer included and that I would have to pay for. I asked to speak to the man that sold me the plan, and was told he would be right with me because he was with a customer. I could see him in his office joking around with the salesmen. After an hour of waiting I went and asked for my car back. Once I demanded my car back and said I was going to call corporate, he finally came out. When I refused to pay extra, he ordered his workers to start pulling parts out of my car that weren't even changed. I almost had to call the police! My car was even returned with a scratch. After reporting the issue to corporate the GM supposedly fixed the issue, and took care of the services that were supposed to be provided, and fixed the scratch, but the scratch is still there. More
Great dealer...I found my car on the internet and flew in to Chicago to pick it up. Great staff and very clean building. My Mazda RX8 has had its problems since I have had it, but they are known problems wit to Chicago to pick it up. Great staff and very clean building. My Mazda RX8 has had its problems since I have had it, but they are known problems with this car and I can't blame the dealer for any of it. They were very helpful and made my car buying easy. If I lived in Chicago I would buy from them again. I wish I could take my RX8 into them for service because my Mazda dealers in Buffalo are not as nice. A+. More
I had originally visited this dealership to look into purchasing a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 they had in-stock. Josh helped me by showing me the vehicle, test driving it, and beginning paperwork. Brian was of gr purchasing a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 they had in-stock. Josh helped me by showing me the vehicle, test driving it, and beginning paperwork. Brian was of great assistance in finding me the financing I needed to purchase a vehicle. After driving it, I ended up leaving with a 2010 Mazda3 Sport that Josh had showed me. The staff was all very pleasant and friendly. At no point did I feel hassled or felt I was being treated poorly by pushy salesmen. I would definitely return for my next purchase. More
The sales team were great in understanding what it was that I wanted, and accepting what my financial limits were--and then helping me find a car based on those parameters. I appreciate not being bullied that I wanted, and accepting what my financial limits were--and then helping me find a car based on those parameters. I appreciate not being bullied into buying a car I can in now way afford. Everyone was friendly and were great to work with. They made everything clear and easy to understand. It was a big finanical commitment for myself, and am glad to have gone to the Autobarn Mazda of Countryside. More
I feel that the Mazda CZ9 (Touring) is a little bit over-priced, however it is a great car. I also feel my Salesman could've worked a little harder to give me a better deal on my purchase. My experienc over-priced, however it is a great car. I also feel my Salesman could've worked a little harder to give me a better deal on my purchase. My experience in the closing process was not that great I was forced into purchasing some insurance that I really didnt need. I was told it was mandatory with the purchase of the car and later found out I had an option it was not mandatory. Overall I had a decent experience at Countryside Autobarn and I would recommend customers to purchase at this location. Maybe under better credit circumstances they may receive a better deal than I did :) More
Service here is expensive. The dealership even charges $65 to just diagnose a problem before doing any repairs...this alone is the reason why I will not return to this dealership. I decided to go to Pugi $65 to just diagnose a problem before doing any repairs...this alone is the reason why I will not return to this dealership. I decided to go to Pugi Mazda for service needs...sure it is 10 miles further from Countryside Mazda, but I won't be fleeced like at Countryside. More
