This is the first time that the car buying experience was truly enjoyable and respectful on both ends. I did not have to talk to a manager at all to negotiate a price and the salesman was cordial, unintrusi truly enjoyable and respectful on both ends. I did not have to talk to a manager at all to negotiate a price and the salesman was cordial, unintrusive, and every other good characteristic that a salesman should be. It was great. I highly recommend this dealer and Kris as your salesman. More
The Autobarn of Countryside far exceeded my expectations. I give it the highest rating for two reasons; the salesman that sold me my car and the respect I was treated with. To start, this was my first car I give it the highest rating for two reasons; the salesman that sold me my car and the respect I was treated with. To start, this was my first car buying experience so I was afraid I would be taken advantage of. I went to one dealership in which I found my initial perfect car (the Continental Nissan Dealership in Countryside, IL). The only thing was, they would not budge on helping me get to a price I was comfortable with and they did not seem like they wanted to work with me. So I left and went to the Autobarn and I could have made a smarter move. The salesman I worked with, Bassam, treated me with respect. So much respect that I felt more like a friend than a customer. I was not pressured into buying and he was not pushy at all. At the end of the day, I ended up paying more for the Mazda than I would have paid for the other car at the other dealership but I was totally ok with it because everything was laid on the table for me to see and there were no hidden charges or fees. Bassam played a big role in the purchase of my Mazda. I would (and have) recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car. I will definitely go back to the Autobarn of Countryside in the future. More
Love my new 2010 Mazda 6 Grand Touring...... I was able to take the car home for the weekend as a courtesy before I made my decision. Having been given the chance for an extended test drive - really helpe to take the car home for the weekend as a courtesy before I made my decision. Having been given the chance for an extended test drive - really helped in finding out if the car was for me. Bassam was very friendly, professional and courteous in his approach. I highly recommend dealing with Bassam and the entire management staff at the The Autobarn Mazda in Countryside,IL. More
I went to Mazda of Countryside to purchase a new 2010 Mazda 3. My experience was not very good at all. I was left waiting and waiting. once i had the attention of a salesmen it took over 1.5 hrs to co Mazda 3. My experience was not very good at all. I was left waiting and waiting. once i had the attention of a salesmen it took over 1.5 hrs to come to an agreement. i finally agreed to purchase the vehicle and had to wait another 2 hours before i was able to work with the finance department. it was as thought once i said i would make the purchase they completely ignored me. After my purchase was complete i waited 45 mins. for someone to put on my plates and my salesmen said that because i was young he didn't think he needed to go over the features of the car with me.... he also did not specialize in mazda so he didn't know much about my car or the brand. I would DEFINITELY not recommend purchasing a car from this dealership! i have however gone to there sister dealership in Evanston and have had nothing but great experiences. They are extremely nice and accommodating. they also send maintenance reminders (which countryside never has) and coupons. The best part is that Mazda asked my opinion about my sales experience and i told them the truth. they must have emailed the dealer because the manager (Eric) contacted me and left me a very defensive voicemail. I then called him back and left a voicemail regarding my issues with him and never heard from until now. I am actually posting this because he emailed me asking to give a dealer review because "Hopefully, I have lived up to my promise which was to deliver you with a simple, honest, and hassle free vehicle purchase experience. " Apparently he didnt even remember (or care) about my previous complaints. i am glad i was given an opportunity to share my experience and i hope this helps you when considering a dealership. I must say that the Evanston Mazda Autobarn is a GREAT dealership and i will continue to go there. More
People at Autobarn are very pleasant and eager to help. I went there to buy new Mazda 6 2010. I really liked the car, but wanted to make sure that price and service will be fine. Was lucky because that day I went there to buy new Mazda 6 2010. I really liked the car, but wanted to make sure that price and service will be fine. Was lucky because that day I've got $500 rebate. As usual, I expected to have to deal with people who are pressing and trying to show me what I don't want to buy. But to my great surprise, I've got time to look around among several Mazda 6 options and then ask questions about one I liked. After we reached the deal, service was amazing. Within 1.5-2hrs I went out with license plates, insurance faxed papers to them and brand new Mazda. Since I am new to U.S., I thought that is typical. It is interesting that my cousins saw car in Church parking lot and they thought it's not my car because it usually takes time to sort plates out. Of note, I've also got lifetime free car wash (already tried) and 3 free oil changes. Really amazing service and I've got all that for very decent price. Would recommend for sure! Oh, and Mazda 6 is amazing car! More
Used the USAA car buying service and they put me in contact with multiple dealerships. Eric took the initiative to give me the bottom price immediately and successful gave me a trade in valve for my o contact with multiple dealerships. Eric took the initiative to give me the bottom price immediately and successful gave me a trade in valve for my old car that was higher than other dealerships. It was a no brainer for me. When arriving at the dealership, the car was clean and sitting right out front waiting for me. Wonderful service! More
The dealership made the sale as hassle-free as possible. I didn't feel pressured by the sales staff - they were there to answer questions and help. I went in to inquire about a car in their ad, and they di I didn't feel pressured by the sales staff - they were there to answer questions and help. I went in to inquire about a car in their ad, and they didn't pull any funny stuff - just sold me the car for the adverized price. I feel that the Mazda CZ9 (Touring) is a little bit over-priced, however it is a great car. I also feel my Salesman could've worked a little harder to give me a better deal on my purchase. My experienc over-priced, however it is a great car. I also feel my Salesman could've worked a little harder to give me a better deal on my purchase. My experience in the closing process was not that great I was forced into purchasing some insurance that I really didnt need. I was told it was mandatory with the purchase of the car and later found out I had an option it was not mandatory. Overall I had a decent experience at Countryside Autobarn and I would recommend customers to purchase at this location. Maybe under better credit circumstances they may receive a better deal than I did :) More
The sales team were great in understanding what it was that I wanted, and accepting what my financial limits were--and then helping me find a car based on those parameters. I appreciate not being bullied that I wanted, and accepting what my financial limits were--and then helping me find a car based on those parameters. I appreciate not being bullied into buying a car I can in now way afford. Everyone was friendly and were great to work with. They made everything clear and easy to understand. It was a big finanical commitment for myself, and am glad to have gone to the Autobarn Mazda of Countryside. More
I had originally visited this dealership to look into purchasing a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 they had in-stock. Josh helped me by showing me the vehicle, test driving it, and beginning paperwork. Brian was of gr purchasing a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 they had in-stock. Josh helped me by showing me the vehicle, test driving it, and beginning paperwork. Brian was of great assistance in finding me the financing I needed to purchase a vehicle. After driving it, I ended up leaving with a 2010 Mazda3 Sport that Josh had showed me. The staff was all very pleasant and friendly. At no point did I feel hassled or felt I was being treated poorly by pushy salesmen. I would definitely return for my next purchase. More
