We wanted a specific color and interior and he came thru and we got all the options we wanted. The car is great, and this is after coming from a Lexus RX. Can't wait to go on a road trip. All the people we dealt with at the dealership were exceptional but Chris stood out. We did have a problem with the 1st car that was brought to us as our intended purchase with the interior and options, but Chris got us exactly what we wanted and then some. If in the market for a new car, I highly recommend Chris Howard. And also check out the RAV4. Great car. More
Good price but bad customer service after purchase I drove 3 hours to buy a toyota sienna because they had the best price by far. I ended up having to wait over 4 hours to finalize the deal even though I drove 3 hours to buy a toyota sienna because they had the best price by far. I ended up having to wait over 4 hours to finalize the deal even though i was not financing and a check in hand. I paid the extra and had the van certified through toyota bit since the service dept was closed I came back two weeks later to get the certification. When the certification was complete they advised me that they would mail me the certification paperwork. After a couple weeks I called my sales rep, Chris Howard, and asked about the paperwork and he said he would have it sent immediately. After another week I tried to contact Chris and he would not respond to my voicemails or emails. I called the dealership again and spoke to numerous people and they kept telling me I would have to speak with Chris. This went on for 6 months with Chris telling me multiple times that h was sending the paperwork only to never do anything he eventually told me there was nothing he could do. I spoke with his manager mike size and he told me he would take care of it and call me back the next day but did not. I eventually left a message for the general manager and his assistant called me back and had my paperwork to me in a few days. Only buy here if you never need anything after the initial purchase. I purchased my very first car, a 2012 Mazda Mazda6 from Toyota of Union City on Friday, December 13, 2013. I chose Toyota of Union City for the simple fact that I love to support businesses in my community Toyota of Union City on Friday, December 13, 2013. I chose Toyota of Union City for the simple fact that I love to support businesses in my community and because I feel that with a name as strong as Toyota, how could I go wrong? Little did I know I was in for the worst experience I've ever had at any establishment. I had been looking for a Mazda6 for quite some time and after doing my research, I found one on the Toyota of Union City's website. It was just what I wanted. I got off of work that Friday after a long week and drove to Toyota of Union City. As usual when I had visited dealerships in the past, I was flagged down by a salesperson. I met with Fred Stephens who seemed to be extremely courteous and interested in helping me get the car I wanted. I test drove the car and as we were driving Fred noticed that the radio was inoperable. It simply would not power on. Fred assured me that this was only a small issue and that Toyota of Union City would make sure that I would have a working radio. We arrived back at the dealership and I completed the necessary paperwork including a WE OWE that would ensure that Toyota of Union City would repair the radio. Before I drove off the lot in my very first purchase of which I was incredibly proud of, Fred instructed me to return on Monday so that I could have my radio fixed. What would follow is a series of events I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I returned on Monday morning (I took personal time off from work) but for one reason or another was instructed that I wouldn't be able to have my radio fixed and that I should return the following Tuesday. I was confused but was hopeful that it was not a big deal and that everything would be ok. I used my hour lunch break the next day to drive from work in Atlanta to Union City to drop my car off for service. Again, I was told by Fred that I would have to come back the next day. Again, I simply complied as I am not a confrontational person and decided to just leave until the next day. Wednesday came and I left work early to take my car back to Union City. This time I was informed that the radio man was at the dealership and that I would be able to get my radio fixed. I was elated. I waited for a couple of hours and eventually the service man came and told me that I was "all set." I was very excited and was glad that I would finally be able to have a working radio in my car. What I saw when I approached my car came as a total shock. I noticed my factory radio had been gutted out and placed on the backseat of my car. In its place was a CHEAP aftermarket radio. I was LIVID to say the least. The replacement radio was not a 6-disc like the factory and NONE of my steering wheel controls worked nor did the display work. Not only that, the auto window was now not working. WHAT THE xxxx? I went back in and explained that this "fix" was unsatisfactory and I would not be driving my car home in this condition. The service manager placed me in a rental/loaner car and said that he would call me the next day to let me know the status. The following day, I had not heard anything from Toyota of Union City by the end of business and decided to call. I kept getting voicemail and left a message for the service manager. No one called me back. In fact, it has now been ELEVEN days since I dropped my car off and not ONCE has anyone called to follow up with me. I've called SEVERAL times, spoken to SO many people from Bob to Jeff to Erin and not ONE of them has called me back even though they assured me that they would. Not a single person has called me. It has been two weeks since I purchased my car and I have NO clue where my car is. I have NO clue how much longer I am to ride around in a car that isn't mine. I have purchased a car that I am not even able to drive because literally EVERYONE at Toyota of Union City has lied to me. I have never been so frustrated and I cannot believe they are still in business. I have no idea what to do. This place has already missed out on two referrals from me. My sisters each bought a car within the last two weeks from a different dealership. I absolutely refused to allow them to go to Toyota of Union City. I should have heeded the warnings of other reviewers. This place is a joke! Still waiting on someone to call me back... More

I had test driven a Camry with another sales rep and returned to speak with him. He was not at hand and as luck may have it, I was referred to Chris Howard. He takes car selling to another level. Rather returned to speak with him. He was not at hand and as luck may have it, I was referred to Chris Howard. He takes car selling to another level. Rather than receiving a sales pitch, I felt I was receiving friendly advice, honest information, and his take on the various vehicles. Chris is confident enough to voice his thoughts on each vehicle, but also considerate enough to let one make his own decision. He had the patience to not only take me test driving in several vehicles, but also my wife when I returned with her the following week to come to a final decision. Chris has done everything in the book to help us find the right vehicle. Unfortunately the sales management team didn't feel it necessary to quote a price that was in line what other dealerships are offering, regardless, I feel Chris has gone above and beyond and I am still hoping he will find a way to get us the car we want and can afford! I will update once we are driving a Toyota! More
I visited Toyota of Union City primarily to refinance my vehicle. Well, the sales representative that I was assigned to tried everything possible to satisfy me. I purchase a 2010 Toyota Camry a year ago and the vehicle had a negative equity of $17,000. I was informed I will not be able to get financed with any bank, unless I purchase a newer vehicle and increase my payments. Well, my line of business deals with alot of negotiating and common sense logic and that logic did not satisfy me and I was not in the mood to increase my payments. Then a young man by the name of Nick Cantwell intervened and negotiated and provided logic regarding increasing the payments. Yes!!!! sound reasoning and a healthy program that was introduced helped me to purchase a newer vehicle(2014) and now I have positive equity!!! I will be returning with( making payments on time) within 6 months to purchase another 2014 vehicle and my payments and interest rates with be greatly reduced. Now, keep in mind the deal only increased my payments by alittle. Why should you visit Toyota of Union City and join the Nick Cantwell fan club? Simply, because it works!!!! They are the best and they have their trophy to confirms that. More
Toyota of Union City, specifically, Lawrence Crawley, did a wonderful job with helping me purchase a car at resonable price. With my bankruptcy status, they made my experience easy without the hassles. Mr. C a wonderful job with helping me purchase a car at resonable price. With my bankruptcy status, they made my experience easy without the hassles. Mr. Crawley was honest about what he could do for me and there was no haggling. The courts gave me a budget and he was able to help me meet that budget. I would recommend him and this dealership to my friends and family. Overall, this was a good experience. More
I want to discuss a recent experience I encountered at Toyota of Union City, GA. After six years of being in business and pursuing my doctoral degree, Mr. Rozier called me from the Internet Sales depart Toyota of Union City, GA. After six years of being in business and pursuing my doctoral degree, Mr. Rozier called me from the Internet Sales department. He was thorough and a great listener. I place great value on my time so I do not have time to waste. He found the car that met my needs and lifestyle. I do not enjoy the car buying experience for the notion of receiving critical information to make good decisions. Mr. Rozier loves his job and is authentic and transparent in his efforts. In my opinion, he and his staff are the epitome of what the car buying experience should be about. I only hope that is willingness and ability to serve is clients transcend to immediate success and more professional opportunities. The next car I buy will be a Toyota and I hope I find Mr. Rozier to assist me. If not, I probably will not purchase because I place great value on customer service. I wish Mr. Rozier and the Toyota of Union City the best moving forward and may the wind always be at Mr. Rozier's back. He is truly the best that life has too offer. More
