Nice looking dealership, nice people but if you need service, OMG. I got a check engine light yesterday. This morning I tried to schedule service on their web site. The first time I could get was JUL service, OMG. I got a check engine light yesterday. This morning I tried to schedule service on their web site. The first time I could get was JULY 9, 2024, I month from now. I talked to a service adviser and was told to leave the car for several days and they would try to "fit it in". What good is a dealership that makes you wait 30 days to get service? I am very disappointed. More
I had my wife's Santa Fe serviced at Myrtle Beach Hyundai on Monday. They could not have been any more courteous, faster or more pleasant. The service writer explain all the details of what was to be Hyundai on Monday. They could not have been any more courteous, faster or more pleasant. The service writer explain all the details of what was to be done. The new facility is very nice with lots of amenities. Coffee and snacks are provided and the service to the car was just what was needed. They even wash the car when done with the service. Really good customer service. More

New car with crazy problems. I purchased my 2021 Palisade and did not think I would have the issues within a year. I did not purchase from Myrtle Beach Hyundai but I am thankful I purchased my 2021 Palisade and did not think I would have the issues within a year. I did not purchase from Myrtle Beach Hyundai but I am thankful for the staff that assisted me going forward. My sunroof would not close and snapped off the line. It took roughly a month or so for the part to be delivered and sunroof to be corrected. During that time Scott assisted me with a rental who was a pleasure to work with. Once my car got corrected I picked it up with a crack windshield which Scott AGAIN assisted me on what to do. Once the window was replaced my sensor for my windshield wipers were not working. Came back to correct the issue and Scott noticed me in the service hall upset. We spoke and he reached out to Mr. Robert who made the highlight of my day. If it was not for Scott and Mr. Robert I would have walked away and never would have returned. I thank the staff for all they have done. More

Yesterday, My 70+ yearold recently widowed mother came in to buy a car and dealership tried to scam her into offering $2,000 for her hyundai vera cruz trade in with 50k miles in very good shape. For perspec to buy a car and dealership tried to scam her into offering $2,000 for her hyundai vera cruz trade in with 50k miles in very good shape. For perspective, carmax just cut a check for $11,600 for that car. For additional perspective, Hyundai in Richmond, VA gave our friend $4000 for a honda minivan with 180,000 miles. I joined her today and he double downed saying the $2k was a fair offer and normal for what they offer. If you but a car here, sell your trade in a carmax first. Shame on this dealership for trying to take advantage of her. Some businesses have no shame. More
These people cannot be bothered to return one phone call. I called 3 times over the past 3 days asking 1 questions, leaving messages every time and still no return call. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Never been to a service department with that many people that could care less. Every employee in that dealership looked as if they were in agony. Two months after making my service appt., I drove 70 miles o that could care less. Every employee in that dealership looked as if they were in agony. Two months after making my service appt., I drove 70 miles one way to meet my appt. time only to be told the parts were not in. But they did tell me they were sorry and knew how I felt. I was P-I-S-S-E-D off. While waiting for them to tell me that I tried some friendly chat with the sales manager and I believe his name was Mr. Arrogant. I even had plans to try and purchase a new Santa Cruz truck that I had been wanting but I decided not to interrupt and destroy their cheerful atmosphere. If you are looking for a dealership that can't spell courtesy, this is the place. More
Brought vehicle in four times for same problem. Was told it was fixed, problem is not resolved. Sat at dealership 12 days before they even “looked” at vehicle. Was told they would reimburse for rental, they have not. Engine has locked up on us four times now, while driving on highway. Vehicle goes in “limp” mode while driving. Dealership told me they can’t replace engine, which has been recalled, until something happens. Not sure what they are waiting for but I am concerned that something fatal will happen and I am not willing to take that chance with my families lives. The vehicle is burning oil so quickly and the service manager told us to carry quarts of oil with us. That is not a solution. One manager said she would love to replace the engine on Hyundais dime but they can’t until it is absolutely necessary. I think driving on the highway at 60 mph and the vehicle just stops accelerating and the engine locks is absolutely necessary. This is unacceptable. Calling the service department is useless, they don’t answer, and when you leave a message they don’t get back to you either! Service manager said the vehicle is “old” and this is what happens. Wish I knew when we purchased that Hyundais don’t last. It’s not even eight years old. These engines have a recall for this same exact problem, they need to fix this! More
