Murphy Ford

I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with this Ford dealer. I purchased a brand new Ford Windstar Van from this dealer, and paid extra for the Ford extended warranty. During 2013 my original extended warranty expired.Th a brand new Ford Windstar Van from this dealer, and paid extra for the Ford extended warranty. During 2013 my original extended warranty expired.The finance manager at Murphy Ford sold me a new after market extended warranty. I paid for my warranty and received my contract. I believed every thing was fine until my Van needed service . I took my Van to a closer Ford dealer and the transmission needed service . When the Ford dealer contacted the warranty company they told them that the warranty was never underwritten and that Murphy Ford was REFUNDED the money . Murphy Ford did not notify me in any way that my warranty was not valid . The manager at Murphy Ford would not make good for their error . All they could offer was a refund for the warranty ; and would not give me back the tax amount I paid for the warranty . My Van needed a transmission rebuild so I was forced to use the returned money toward the repair . As a result , I am left without the warranty that I paid for ,plus I had to "eat "over $100 in paid tax. Ford customer relations contacted Murphy Ford about the issue , but the dealer has yet to resolve my warranty or tax refund issue More

I went to this dealership and told the Salesman that I was looking for a dependable used vehicle that has a warranty for my wife to drive. I purchased a 2011 Ford Fusion. My wife likes the car. In less t was looking for a dependable used vehicle that has a warranty for my wife to drive. I purchased a 2011 Ford Fusion. My wife likes the car. In less than six months and 2,460 miles the check engine light came on. We took the car back up to Murphy Ford and they repaired the problem, hopefully. The check engine light is no longer on. We were charged to my suprise, I spoke with Bill and he told me that the original warranty is no long valid and that this vehicle was originally sold in 11/06/2010. I did some research and this paperwork does not have a registered owner until 1/14/2011. My mileage is 33,794. I think that this Dealership is dishonest and will tell you anything to make the sale. I would not reccommend anyone looking to buy a dependable used vehicle to use this dealership. More

It needed to be re-detailed and to have floor mats ordered. Frank took care of any/all concerns in a timely, professional and friendly manner, which was greatly appreciated!! When we dropped the car off to be detailed, I showed Frank a few spots that needed help, in which he said that they would do their best. When I came to pick the car up, DARIUS had gone well out of his way to make sure that the car was in tip-top shape!! IT WAS SPARKLING!!! He took extra time and effort to make sure that it was done right and done exceptionally well, again, which was greatly appreciated!! THANK YOU DARIUS!!! Our overall experience has been OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Not only were FRANK AND DARIUS fantastic but the rest of the staff were also very friendly and professional. Ever since I have taken my cars to Murphy Ford, I've been impressed with how the service department conducts themselves. They are fair and honest which I like being that I'm not very knowledge about ho been impressed with how the service department conducts themselves. Everytime I bring my car here, I know that its in good hands with Chuck around. Furthermore, he is friendly and willing to explain what is wrong with the car in a way I can understand. Although this dealership is a hike for me, it is well worth the trip if you want your automobile treated with respect and care. More

We went to Murphy Ford due to the fact that they had several of the two models that we were looking at in stock. Our salesman was Vince and he was great. Even though we went to Murphy late in the evening Vince and the rest of the staff were very helpful in making our car buying experience a pleasant one. We drove several cars and looked at different options. Vince was very helpful and not at all pushy throughout the entire process. We were offered a fair amount for our trade and made a good deal on our new Fusion SE. At no time did we feel pressured or uncomfortable when dealing with Vince at Murphy. When we went to pick up our new Fusion we were offered some add-ons but were never pressured to purchase them. We were apprehensive about a new vehicle purchase due to the fact that we had used the Ford X-Plan for the last two with absolutely no hassel. This process at Murphy felt like the last two X-Plan purchases. I would certainly give Murphy Ford and Vince a chance to help you with you vehicle needs. You will be treated fairly.
