I went in to their service department to have my car fixed - my trucks infotainment screen was not working, no navigation, backup camera would turn on while I was driving forward, it would freeze, it wo fixed - my trucks infotainment screen was not working, no navigation, backup camera would turn on while I was driving forward, it would freeze, it would stay on when the vehicle was turned off for 15-30 minutes, it would freeze up on a solid blue screen, etc… suffice it to say it was not working. I asked to have them replace it. Jose, my service rep said before they could replace it I first I had to pay a $150 fee for them to find the problem. Ok. They kept the truck for 2 days. On the second day they told me that there was something wrong with my infotainment screen and it would need to be replaced. Yes, that’s why I was there. But before they could replace it I had to pay a $400 fee to have them upgrade to the latest version of sync. This is a free upgrade ford offers on their website. I pointed that out and they said the fee was the time it would take the mechanic to update the software. Ok, so I asked if the new unit I wanted to pay to have installed came with the updated software. They said yes. So I asked Jose if they could then just replace the old unit since the new one came with the new software. Jose said that I had to upgrade my software with them or they would not do the repair. He said that if they did the repair without updating the software first then Ford would charge them for the work to reach my screen and that the dealership would then take it out of his paycheck and possibly fire him. Is that true? So to get the repair I came in and asked for I had to first pay a $150 diagnostic fee then they required me to pay a $400 software upgrade fee and only then would they would they charge me $2500 for the new screen. I want to point out that this was not work under warranty - neither the dealership nor Ford was under obligation to pay for any of this and I was happy and willing to pay for the unit to be replaced in the vehicle out of pocket. I just can’t believe that I was refused the service that I needed, that they acknowledged I needed, unless I paid an additional $550 in charges first. Totally bizarre. I’m going to be following up with Ford directly, the BBB, etc… I really want to understand what happened. More
Fantastic service. I was from out of town on a road-trip, and the "oil change" notice came up on my dashboard, with 1,000 miles left on my trip. I showed up unannounced, and they performed the work right away, at a very reasonable price. They also gave me a diagnosis of other issues my car had, without charging me. Great experience. More

The waiting areas are great, comfy chairs and wifi. However being the 3rd car in in the morning it still took 90min for an oil change. Seems like that could be sped up a bit. He’s my go to guy whenever I have issues because I know he will help get the problems solved. Very thorough and a great listener when describing issues to give you the correct assessment and corrective issues that are necessary and more urgent without breaking the piggy bank at the dealership all in one shot. Boris makes that appointment making a little more fun. Thanks again! More
