They are just like the other dealers, only in it for the money. They use edmonds, truecars, and other inflated sales tactics to prove their price is reasonable, but if you look at kbb or nada's clean trade prices, they have that or less in each vehicle. Go to a reputable dealer and buy certified preowned. At least they will stand behind their vehicles and give you a better price than sticker. More
Sold us a wrecked SUV and lied They sold my wife and I a wrecked SUV BUT provided paperwork showing NO wrecks and ONLY one owner. The car had two previous owners and was involved in a rear end collision according to a Carfax report we obtained. We started having water leak issues with the trunk shortly after purchasing. We spent $357 fixing this issue obviously stemming from the rear end collision NOT reported in their bogus and fraudulent report provided when purchased. Ray Standefer and Randy Long were out right rude when we presented them with evidence of the SUV being wrecked. The WORST customer service I've experienced in my entire life. We simply wanted Mtn. view @153 to make things right. Ray Standefer approached me outside yelling at me what my problem was, my problem is that Mtn View @153 boldly lied to us and sold us a wrecked SUV and wouldn't at the very least reimburse the $357 we paid to correct water leak issues. Stay away from this dealership! They have no integrity and are in the business of lying to customers. More
Great car, great price, great experience! I recently purchased a Hyundai Genesis at Mtn. View @153 and I am very pleased with the whole experience. The whole process took less than 3 hours fro I recently purchased a Hyundai Genesis at Mtn. View @153 and I am very pleased with the whole experience. The whole process took less than 3 hours from driving on the lot to driving off the lot with my purchase. Mr. Chastain made my wife and I feel at home as soon as he greeted us. He was very well informed of the vehicles on the lot, but was not pushy, and let us look around on our own. After a few minutes we found a vehicle that we liked that was priced way below market value, but was in excellent condition. After the test drive, we were shown the True Car report on the vehicle by Mr. Chastain and he explained all of the past history of the car as shown on the report and was very helpful to show the features on the car. Once we entered the office, the trade in appraisal process went by quickly, and we were offered a fair price for our trade in. Once we agreed on the final transaction, we were quickly led to the finance office, where several payment and warranty options were explained to us. We were not pressured in any way, and the paperwork processing went by quickly and efficiently. By the time we finished the paperwork, the car was ready for us to drive home. We were really impressed at the efficiency of the whole process, and are very happy with our purchase. I have purchased many, many cars in my lifetime, and this purchase experience was the best I have experienced! I normally don't do reviews like this, but I felt the dealership really deserved the recognition. I really liked the relaxed and polite atmosphere. More
Making a profit was more important than satisfying customer. Salesman dishonest with pricing because 2 months after my purchase they advertised same vehicle for thousands less than what I paid for. I customer. Salesman dishonest with pricing because 2 months after my purchase they advertised same vehicle for thousands less than what I paid for. I couldn't trade vehicle without taking a huge loss. Very dissappointed in entire experience. If a company has to have your purchase transaction "videotaped"....in order to "protect" themselves....there must be a bad history...run somewhere else.... More
This dealership is unique in their approach to selling cars. We started our day at 2 or 3 other dealerships. We just couldn't feel relaxed and free to roam & take in all the inventory. The sales pres cars. We started our day at 2 or 3 other dealerships. We just couldn't feel relaxed and free to roam & take in all the inventory. The sales pressure was on and I was starting to get stressed awfully early in the morning. We stopped at the end of the road at a smaller used car dealer, MTN. View @ 153. From the moment we drove on the lot it was a wonderful experience. Our sales person was Jace "Grasshopper" Flatt. He is very young but also laid back & eager to please. He introduced himself to let us know he was there but quickly backed off to let us have our look at the lot. There was a good variety of vehicle, mostly only a few years old. All cars were unlocked and the price with all the vehicles information were available on each car. We were able to shop with so much more ease this way. We quickly picked out 4 cars to test drive. There was still no selling pressure even after we drove the cars. We were very surprised at the no haggle policy as I've never heard of a dealership not negotiating prices. All cars were competitively prices per my Edmunds.com estimator. Some better than others & their doc fee of was a little steep. However even after everything was said & done I still got into this vehicle under Edmund's suggested dealer price and the experience was so much more enjoyable than our previous cars bought. Jace was skillfully handling multiple customers at one time and because of his genuine desire to make each customer happy nobody minded to wait a few minutes to grab his attention. They seemed to be selling quit a few cars that day & treating customers from different walks of life equally. Thanks Jace "Grasshopper" & Mtn. View @ 153 you've made a customer for life! More
