I just got my Subaru Forester Wilderness serviced. Darryl took care of me while I was there. The new Express Service saves time and trouble. I went to lunch nearby and Darryl kept me posted by phone. Very disappointed with Shelor Subaru service. Poor customer service for 2 reasons: There was an error in the appointment time scheduled, which the service person blamed me for when it was likely Poor customer service for 2 reasons: There was an error in the appointment time scheduled, which the service person blamed me for when it was likely an error on the service scheduling side (9a vs 1p). Rather than acknowledge the possibility of a miscommunication, the service person wrote on the work order/invoice that ‘appointment was set at 9a. customer thought it was at 1p. Informed customer that wait time will be longer than originally quoted’ which was unnecessary and frankly, rude. Also was quoted a price of ~$250 for the repair work (key replacement) when I scheduled the appointment. Bill was almost $400. Will not use Shelor Subaru service for any future work on our Outback. Very disappointing as their Toyota service at this dealership has been excellent (have used them for 7 years for our Toyota). More
I only interacted with Cody on this visit. He was very pleasant and polite. He explained that there might be a longer wait than usual because of more people getting inspections. He offered a shuttle service if I wanted to go shopping. I told him I preferred to wait and read my book, which I was looking forward to doing. He walked me to the waiting area. He came back to report how the service was proceeding and said they would probably be finished sooner than originally expected. When finished he came back and walked me over to pay the bill . He was very pleasant—a really nice guy and I think a nice addition to your service staff! I also think your waiting area is extremely nice and is greatly appreciated. Thank you! More
