About a year ago, we relocated pleased to find the high quality dealership of Motor Mile Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep located in the Blacksburg, VA area. About a year ago, we relocated from Minnesota where we had had an excellent experience with the Jeep dealership there. We were very pleased with the explanation of Jeep models and features. This ultimately led to the purchase of a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. The dealership agreed to "hold" the vehicle for several days while we arranged money transfers that permitted us to complete the purchase. We thought that the reciprocal trust shown is the indication of an outstanding dealer. We were also pleased with the value given to our Jeep trade-in, We have been pleased with the maintenance service for our previous vehicle provided by the Motor Mile dealership. I went to Shelor’s after speaking with a salesperson the I went to Shelor’s after speaking with a salesperson the previous week. I knew that there were problems with me being upside down in my current car I went to Shelor’s after speaking with a salesperson the previous week. I knew that there were problems with me being upside down in my current car, but was told to please come down and give them a chance to see what they could work out. I found a car I liked with a rebate to eat up the negative equity but we were still off from a payment I could afford. I felt like they were doing everything they could for me and told them I would work on my numbers to see if we could get something done. I was told they would call me the next day. I called my sales person twice and never received a return call. I called the person who encouraged me to come in. He said he would call to find out what was going on and call me right back. Still no calls. I sent an e-mail on Shelor’s comment section. It only sent a referral to another salesman. No one read my e-mail to address the fact that no one would call me for two days. That salesperson had my original salesperson call me and he said he was confused as to who would call me. He said he hadn’t heard anything yet, but would call when he did. I am not expecting another call. No one seems to care that they are losing a customer. Just someone to call and respond to me would have made the difference. More
