The worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I made a deal to purchase a vehicle with them and they sent me the paperwork with the price and terms and loan payments. I drive 1 hour and a half and the manager won't hour the deal. Starting adding fees said the sales tax would 12.5% and other things. I'm a CPA and I knew the sales tax was 9.5%. The xxxxxxxxx that came out of this guys mouth was insulting to me a 65 year old experienced CPA and successful business man. It was shocking. I have probably bought over 25 cars in my life. I bought 2 for my daughter at Carmax in the last 3 years. I would suggest go to Carmax than this dealership at least they don't xxxxxxxxx you. On a good note I ended up buying the Honda I wanted at Buena Park Honda. They sent me the paperwork and I went in and bought the car. No hassle, no lies, beautiful. Buena Park Honda was great to deal with. Stay clear of Moss! More

While I ended up buying car, it was despite multiple dishonest and misleading tactics along the way. I found and disclosed each in order to get control of the sale. They even told me they could not se dishonest and misleading tactics along the way. I found and disclosed each in order to get control of the sale. They even told me they could not sell the car for $ listed on CARS.COM. They had to add what they used as a standard set of accessories to a used car but then up charged them a lot. Example: LoJack added by third party charges dealer $200-$270. But they lost it at over a $1000 more. ..."but it's already on the car and we had to pay a third party. We will lose money if we sell it for the advertised price. Their own website does disclose in the fine print that the MAY be additional accessory charges. All in all, they bumped the price by almost $4K before I showed them all the things I found out. I ended up paying what I expected for the car before entering. I went to two different of their dealerships Moss VW and Moss Honda about the same exact car and they had totally different Out the Door prices. I used ones details against the other to get lowest of both. I told them I would be recording the sales sessions and they said ok, so I have everything regarding the negotiation tactics and dishonest or incorrect disclosures on record. Want something simple to check in you first seating with them? The 'fees' are listed but the subtotal does not equal them. There is added money there. Their whole 'worksheet', even the computer generated one does not add up when you add the numbers yourself. The whole model is set up to have additional money inserted. It was the 3rd time I have dealt with Moss for various things and without fail there were inconsistencies and misquotes. More
Moss Bros Honda in Moreno Valley was horrible! I was dealing with Westley Perry through email, text and a couple of phone calls. I asked for a bottom line out the door total cost to buy an Accord I was dealing with Westley Perry through email, text and a couple of phone calls. I asked for a bottom line out the door total cost to buy an Accord Hybrid. He insisted that I go in to get that info. I let him know that I wasn’t buying a car that day, but would go in to get the out the door price. I informed him that I didn’t have a lot of time. I just want the cost so I could go home and figure out if I want that car or a Toyota. My request and time was not respected by Westley or his manager. They both were super shady with me. I had my own financing with my credit union at a great rate. Yet this dealership insisted on writing down info from my drivers license!! Even asked for my social security number!!! I had to tell them no a couple of time. I finally had had enough after @ 50 mins and left. Funny how the salesperson at the Toyota Dealership in San Bernardino was able to give me the out the door price in about 10 mins. Also funny how I didn’t need to give him my drivers license or social security number!! More
Bait and switch! A new listing popped up online this morning. I called to ensure the car listed on auto trader was still available before visiting. After a 45 minute A new listing popped up online this morning. I called to ensure the car listed on auto trader was still available before visiting. After a 45 minute drive to the dealership they gave me the run around. First rep lied saying they talked to the person I had an appointment with and that I had the name wrong. When we found the guy I had apt with, he said the car was no longer there. More

I was kept waiting for hours while they either ignored me or tried to sell me a different vehicle...not what I waned. Then low-balled the offer for my trade-in. As I was leaving in disgust, the manager chased me out the door to my vehicle. It was awful!!! More
RUN RUN RUN and stay far away. We’ve purchased a lot of cars and this has by far been the shadiest run operation we’ve ever seen. Want to buy a car without ever being shown any numbers? This is your place. cars and this has by far been the shadiest run operation we’ve ever seen. Want to buy a car without ever being shown any numbers? This is your place. Like an old fashioned bait and switch? Like having your credit run 9 times? Then this is the place for you. We left after spending a week emailing back and forth and hours wasted at the dealership without purchasing because of how unbelievably shady their practices are. We literally were never shown numbers. Just told repeatedly that “we were good”. Can’t tell you how many times we asked to see the numbers in writing and never did. RUN. More
