My car has been at Moss dodge riverside since March of 2022. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a vehicle service department. I'm over 7k in rentals and approximately 8k+ in repairs so 2022. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a vehicle service department. I'm over 7k in rentals and approximately 8k+ in repairs so far. My car was originally over heating and still is now it shuts off while driving. I've only had my car back for 1 day. I've picked up my car multiple times to just make it down the street before the check engine light is back. Apparently a full engine resurfacing then replacemet did nothing to fix the problem. i would avoid this place like the plague and go somewhere else. I will be contacting the attorney General, BBB, FTC and state consumers office. I will be making videos on this situation soon as possible to show what if anything is done. STAY AWAY FROM MOSS BROTHERS DODGE RIVERSIDE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES AND MONEY. Lool at the attached picture of trash work done on my car. Horrible wiring job on the NEW FUSE BOX. AVOID MOSS BROTHERS DODGE RIVERSIDE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES AND MONEY! More

I rarely leave reviews. .. Well, I'll start by saying... call and confirm price, There's a dirty feeling of bait and switch. I'll get right to the point: 1: I called twic .. Well, I'll start by saying... call and confirm price, There's a dirty feeling of bait and switch. I'll get right to the point: 1: I called twice the night before and confirmed pricing on a new Jeep 2: I called the same day before I started my drive to this dealership. I was told it's whatever my original salesman Javi and I had discussed. I did speak with my new salesman and he confirmed price would be whatever Javi and I discussed. We discussed FINAL PRICE plus tax/fees. 3: After I arrived and said ok i liked it, I was then presented with their price. After a few times of going back and forth, I asked to speak directly with sales manager and get to the agreed confirmed price. I had to argue and really get upset with desk/sales manager Josh, even after I explained to him that pricing was confirmed twice and I had driven about 110 miles. I told him it felt like a bait and switch.. He stated that how he sells cars and it was not a bait and switch. He said he's not responsible for what his sale people say..that's insane!! 4: I walked away angry and was ready to leave, then Mike Klein (great guy) come outside and we started talking. 5: I settled for an up-charge of unwanted accessories... which still had not all been done and agreed to pay more than what I was quoted. 6: At the end of the day, I purchased my first Jeep. As a consumer of many cars, this was the worst experience of negotiating! Josh / dealership really needs to be more transparent. I did tell him that he should read some of these Yelp reviews. There should be a good feeling of purchasing a new car and not drive back feeling taken advantage of or dirty, like they did you a favor of selling you a car. Plenty of room for improvement for sure! Good luck and I hope this review helps you. More
am so disgusted by the business practices that this place has in place to straight up STEAL people's hard earned money! My sister (single mom of 2 AWESOME kids!), Took her less than a year after purchase veh has in place to straight up STEAL people's hard earned money! My sister (single mom of 2 AWESOME kids!), Took her less than a year after purchase vehicle a couple days ago, due to some knocking sound in the engine that just started. With 3000 more miles before warranty was up, she figured the financial impact wouldn't be too severe on her. After inspecting her vehicle, they naturally, inform her that whatever the issue was, WOULD NOT b covered by warranty, & that in fact, MOST of it was ADD-ONS they tried slipping in on her(!) For a grand total well over $3500!! After a couple days, of having her car, (meanwhile she sought out a second opinion, bc hey, that's alot of money for a single mom, trust me, I KNOW!), she learned that yes, in fact there WERE unnecessary add-ons thrown in on her, and the inflation they were charging for parts was more than 3 xs what it should have actually been! So with the intention of having her car towed to the second option, where it would be more REASONABLE, and NOT such a financial hardship on her, she goes back to their service center only to discover that her car would now be held HOSTAGE, for RANSOM under the guise of her "signing in agreement" when she signed what she believed to be was only "AUTHORIZATION" to inspect the vehicle! They said since they had it all taken apart that in order to "release" her vehicle, much like when an American hostage is "RELEASED" by guerillas in the jungles of Africa or The Middle East, that she would need to pay about $1,200 for that to happen! Of COURSE, had she AGREED to pay the $3500+ that the fee would have been included in that final total, which tells me that it isn't even an actual separate nor necessary fee, if that makes sense. Which to me, it DOESNT! So, $1200 PLUS the rate of her car rental for 3 days that she was charged for PLUS the fee FOR TOWING THE CAR FROM THESE SWINDLERS HEAD QUARTERS TO WOODCREST (NOT cheap!), is WAY beyond what I would say is ethical, since at this point, the car STILL IS NOT FIXED. NEVERMIND, what the next person is going to charge when he actually FIXES what is OBVIOUSLY a LEMON they sold to her! My sister keeps her car in great condition, pays her car payments on time, paid warranty to have that cushion, and these crooks STILL took advantage of her! I'm strongly encouraging her to pursue legal action-right after she contacts the Better Business Beaureu, then the IRS to get them AUDITED, since they sure seem to be making a KILLING stealing from innocent people, that I have no doubt that SOMEONE'S NOT REPORTING THEIR TAXES CORRECTLY. It's not a far stretch when it comes to white collar crimes that they would be very likely to engage in 'other' criminal activity! And before this post gets the usual GENERIC 'hi I'm so & so, and I would like to help resolve your issue' message that I've seen plastered all over this feed, unless ur going to make this RIGHT, as in either ACTUALLY FIXING THE CAR THAT SHE PURCHASED IN GOOD FAITH WITH GOOD HONEST MONEY, OR REIMBURSE SOME IF NOT MOST of those costs that she has STRUGGLED over a year and a half to save up, then please, don't even waste your time. Furthermore, I am going to blast this HONEST AND VERY TRUE REVIEW, or should I say EXPOSE THIS PLACE, on EVERY PLATFORM I FIND that dares to associate themselves with this "business', including all social media platforms, as well as contacting the media, and any consumer companies I FIND, and of course, the actual corporate company headquarters for Jeep.It is absolutely SHAMEFUL how u guys did my sister! You guys are WRONG for doing people like that, and I for one, strongly advise that those of you who have had your car taken HOSTAGE should reach out to each other for a class action lawsuits! There's no place in our city for a business with such UNETHICAL practices to be operating. They need to be shut down so they don't continue taking advantage of people! That's bull ****, and they KNOW it! Shame on you! More

Debating Made an appointment for battery cable replacement. They said the battery and the cable (battery works but not original) would be $600. Online it says the average replacement is $380 at de replacement. They said the battery and the cable (battery works but not original) would be $600. Online it says the average replacement is $380 at dealerships. We left, though really wanted this to work out. Almost twice the expected price. I was planning to ask them about a tune-up and filters, but stopped cold when the price was this far off listed. Checking around to see if another dealer within driving can handle us more efficiently. Oh and I had already checked in our car through kiosk but a tow truck needed to leave their lot so we pulled out to let it leave. One of the staff then led a car that was not previously there into the line up where we were going back into. That was weird. I noted we already checked in and were there first and the guy told me to be patient. (While he took in a customer that came afterward without speaking with me?) The second guy was very nice and helpful, but we already felt pushed aside then the price was nearly 2x the expected. idk. More
DO NOT trust this place at all. This is the most unethical and unprofessional place I’ve ever been. I bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler brand new in 2015 from this dealership and it had a missing spare key that took them over 3 months to get me, I also had a glue residue coming from multiple areas that they refused to fix and I ended up fixing it myself. I bought the vehicle from this location specifically because they had an oil change for life program at the time. Fast forward 6 oil change receipts later and they tell me I’m unenrolled from the program for not doing all my services and repairs at that location. When I bought the vehicle I asked them if I had to do all repairs and maintenance there and they told me no, all you have to do is purchase the vehicle there to be eligible. So I bought it and have had no problems until 2-12-22. The service advisor tells me I’m kicked off the program for not maintaining my vehicle there. So I asked to speak with the service manager. He was extremely rude about it and even tried to upsell me on a transfer case and transmission service that isn’t due for another 30k miles or 4 years. He then proceeded to tell me that it’s not his problem to deal with this. I then get a call from the manager of Moss Brothers who pretty much tells me the same thing and that they won’t honor it. Interesting that it’s honored till 6 years later when they’re loosing money on something they set up. Total crooks at this place. Don’t spend a penny here. More
