This is the 5th car I have purchased from the Moss Bros Auto Group and the 3rd one specifically from the Moreno Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge store. I've always had a super-pleasant buying experience with the Auto Group and the 3rd one specifically from the Moreno Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge store. I've always had a super-pleasant buying experience with them. The General Manager, Dave Oley, is a great guy and really strives to make his customers happy. I've typically dealt with Richard Chew when I've purchased. He's always very professional and has always helped me get the payments and terms that fit my budget. I recommend them to all of my friends looking to buy a car and they've always taken care of them in the same way they take care of me. They've always gone above and beyond to make me happy - whether that's in sales or when I go to their service department. Everyone is very friendly and seems genuinely appreciative of my business. It's also very convenient that they have so many different brands represented in the same location as a ton of used cars. After taking with Ray on 3/11/12 and asking for a pre-approval as we have had some credit issues, he talked us into coming down saying "we have ten dealerships, we can get you approved". We looked a couple used Dodge Chargers, and bought one that day. They got the payment were we wanted and gave us good price on our trade-in. On 03/22/12 we get a letter from them saying they are cancelling the deal and to return the car. I called and talked to Doug in finance and he told me that they were still working the deal and just keep the car. On 03/24/12 we start getting calls from the bank for the vehicle we traded-in saying the payment was 10 days past due. I called and talked to Doug again. Once again I am told they are working the deal and that they had not paid off our trade. On 03/26/12 I called to tell them I am bringing back the car and I want my trade back. They try stalling me off by saying we will have a manager call you soon. A couple hours go by and we decide to go to the dealership. Just after leaving our house a manager calls saying they got a deal and they needed more paperwork (all stuff they were already given). We get to the dealer at about 3:00pm, and had to fight with them to give them the car back and get our truck. Finally they give us our truck back at about 3:45pm. We get in our truck to find that they had driven our truck 34 miles and siphoned half a tank of gas from the truck. During the prior 4 hours we had called Diamond Hills Auto Group in Banning, CA and got a bank pre-approved loan (in less than 4 hours). Moss couldn't get an approval in over 2 weeks. Anyway, we had to put $5 in gas to get the 19 miles from Moreno Valley to Banning becuase Moss siphoned half a tank from our truck. We went to Diamond Hills Auto Group and were out with-in 2 hours knowing the bank that was financing the loan. I will never go back to any Moss Bros dealer ever again. Update: After writing this review I received a call from Dave Oley from Moss Bros to appologize for what had happened and the issues we had. I did find it nice that someone called to show their concern for the situation. It was a day late and dollar short, but was still nice someone called. More
There was an issue after I purchased my new 2011 Challenger. David Oley stepped up and made it right. This is a dealership you can trust. My Wife contacted Moss Bros when looking for a Challenger for her Husband (Me). She started receiving 3 calls a day from the Dealership. As she worked 12 Hour Shifts, she had indicated "E-Mail Contact" but for her Husband (Me). She started receiving 3 calls a day from the Dealership. As she worked 12 Hour Shifts, she had indicated "E-Mail Contact" but the Calls kept coming. She wrote to Moss Bros stating her Frustration, and to be put on a "Do Not Call List". Within an hour,she received a personal e-mail from Rich Chew Internet Sales Manager. He apologized and hoped he could earn her business back. He quoted a price on a Challenger that was $5K CHEAPER then the Dealership we had been at 2 days earlier! After arriving at the Dealership, we went to their 2nd location and picked out a Challenger (used w/2000 Miles on it). They Transported it over to their Moreno Valley Store, so we could have a look at it. We liked the car based on the listed Options on the Window and the "Custom Dodge Mopar Optional Leather Package. Well we found out that the Window Sticker regarding the Options was incorrect. He proceeded to have ANOTHER Challenger (with all the correct Options) brought over from their Riverside Store. It arrived and the only thing missing was the Optional Mopar Leather, that attracted me to it in the 1st place. To seal the Deal, Rich ordered the optional Leather Package at NO COST, and is installing it for FREE, in a few days! I would HIGHLY recommend Moss Bros to ANYONE looking for a FANTASTIC DEAL on ANY Vehicle, and I would do business with them again in a Heartbeat. I took my 2004 Cherokee in because it was making a loud humming sound at higher speeds. Alan said it was the transfer case. So I spent the $900+ on that repair. When I got it back, it was making the same n humming sound at higher speeds. Alan said it was the transfer case. So I spent the $900+ on that repair. When I got it back, it was making the same noise! I feel like I just threw away $900! I went back, and even the mechanic came out and said he told Alan that is was actually the wheel bearing, and that I would come back complaining about the noise. Alan wasn't there but they said they would talk to Alan and a manager and call me back. Nobody ever called me back. More
