I attempted to order a piece of door trim for a ford explorer. The person working in the parts department said they would not order a part without taking a card number first, i gave them the card number explorer. I called back immediately because they didn't tell me the price or confirm if i was ok with them charging my card. Upon calling back he says he would cancel the order but refused to give me a parts number. I said its fine, got the parts number from ford in fresno and ordered my own trim for about 100 bucks since ford wanted 335 for it. I come in for service, ask when they will refund me, they say usually 7-10 business days. Ok fine, 10 days passes, no refund, I bring it up again they tell me to call my bank. I challenge it and the general manager is lying about the authorization they got to charge for the piece of trim. I am glad i documented what had actually happened on facebook because he was saying that the person who authorized the charge was known to me. They were not and they did not let me know the cost either. The general manager laughed and enjoyed that a disabled veteran and purple heart recipient was being ripped off by his less than honorable actions. Truly disgusting business practices over there. Stay far away. Not only was i not ever told that the piece of trim could not be returned i ordered a piece of door trim the same day they supposedly canceled the order. So now im not just out money for ordering the piece but also money because they never refunded me for the piece they failed to cancel. 700 dollars to fix a piece of door trim for a keypad pillar and it had to be repaired by me. Below is evidence of everything which is dated for proof as well as his response lying to the bank and the better business bureau to keep the money. More

I didn't purchase my Ford from Monarch but I now have it serviced there and so far they have never let me down. I plan on taking my Ford there as long as I continue to get great, friendly and courteous serv serviced there and so far they have never let me down. Terrible customer service. Terrible service department.. terrible sales.. Not only did they sell me a car that they said they repaired (husband noticed issues during test drive), but sold me a near useless terrible sales.. Not only did they sell me a car that they said they repaired (husband noticed issues during test drive), but sold me a near useless extended warranty. I say near useless bc within the first year,, the transmission went out,, so at least that got fixed, after 30 days in the shop.. Every time I take it in, they have some excuse why they can't solve my other issues. I even took it in on an insurance claim and they kept my car 30 days without even writing up an estimate. One of the big wigs, Glenn, even blamed ME for not having him handle the situation at the first sign of something being wrong. They supposedly worked on the car for 69 hours, but every time I asked what they did, they gave me the run around. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Canceling my warranty bc its not worth the paper it's written on. Currently dealing with 3 different shops to take care of the work that monarch couldn't handle. Oh... but they offered me a free detail. I told them not to touch my car ever again. Every time I asked to speak to the owner, my request was denied. More
When you spend $60,000 on a car used or new you dont expect to have to purchase a 2nd key and you expect a full tank of gas not a tank with 41 miles left. It's the little things that make people return expect to have to purchase a 2nd key and you expect a full tank of gas not a tank with 41 miles left. It's the little things that make people return customers and honestly the $350 it would have cost the dealership to pay for the spare key and fill the tank would have changed my opinion and what I will tell friends. I doubt it would have affected their bottom line. Sadly I wont recommended Monarch if what they want can be found elsewhere. More
