My gf and I were shopping for a new Crosstrek for her daughter, who was down from Boston for the weekend. We stopped by Saturday to have her look at one, and get a closer look at the color options. My gf went inside to see if there was a sales person to help us, telling one of them we were just looking, and timing wise needed the vehicle sometime by end of March early April. This sales person, and I use the term loosely, said rather loudly and gruffly "then what are you even doing here now? The programs change...". One might expect a hello, happy New Year, may I help you? Or wow, you're here early, may I take your contact information so I can follow up with you closer to when you need the car? Needless to say, my gf was shocked... and also needless to say, if Mitchell Subaru had the last Crosstrek on the planet, we will not be back. Perhaps we interrupted something more important on a rainy slow Saturday, and I'm not a salesperson but if someone walks in your dealership, you treat them better than she was treated.
