Please let us apologize for any bad information received from our staff. As you are probably aware many lenders will allow a family member to sign on a note when the original purchaser cannot qualify on their own merit. The ability and willingness of the co-buyer to pay the note should the original purchaser not be able to do so is part of the agreement. Certainly your granddaughter will do her part and pay the note as agreed. But in the event that there is an issue you will be notified by your lender quickly as the bill is received at your residence. Sorry again for the miscommunications.
