Worst work ever I took my vehicle in for a 60,000 mile service and the so called technician almost ruined my vehicle, after 79 miles of driving over a weeks time at I took my vehicle in for a 60,000 mile service and the so called technician almost ruined my vehicle, after 79 miles of driving over a weeks time at short distances the engine started to overheat and eventually dumped coolant out of the overflow tank that did not have the cap secured. I had to put a gallon of coolant into the radiator thinking that was the problem. Then I decided to check the transmission fluid levels also (because that was part of the service) to find that there was practically no fluid on the dipstick. When I called Nissan about the issue they sent the same technician out to look at the vehicle (which took him over an hour to locate even with a GPS location, the drive from their shop is 8 minutes away!). The technician had difficulty locating the hood support rod on a vehicle he had apparently worked on the week before and claimed that "all vehicles are different." After beating around the bush and not being able to diagnose the problem he said that he would talk with the service manager and have him call me about getting my vehicle back to Nissan to be looked over. Once again after waiting most of the day and not having heard from them I had someone drive me over to them to see what the issue was. When I went in I did eventually get to talk to Josh the service manager to explain the issue and he was just learning of the problem at almost 5 pm. After talking to him he assured me that he would call me first thing in the morning to have my vehicle towed to their shop to be looked at first thing in the morning. After waiting to around 8:15 am the next morning and not hearing anything back from them I called and wanted to know when they would be sending the tow truck out, at around 9 am the tow truck showed up but then had to leave because that company was on the rotation call for accidents that day and had to respond to the call (which is understandable because they have an obligation to that as part of their business). So once again I called Nissan about getting my vehicle towed over to their shop which was once again promised to me to be done first thing in the morning and the service desk person tried and in his words said "That the tow truck driver had flaked out and went on another call." I explained to the service desk person that the driver did not flake out and that it was on them to get my vehicle in that morning as promised, eventually at around 11 am another to truck showed up and my vehicle was finally on its way to its destination. At almost 3 pm that afternoon I called Nissan again about the status of my vehicle to find out what had gone wrong, shortly after 3 pm they returned my call about my vehicle saying that it would be ready by the end of the day. At 3:46 pm I received the call that my vehicle was ready to be delivered back to me, but after the service I had received I insisted on going there to pick it up myself so that I could go over it with them before accepting the vehicle from them. The service manager and the senior technician had both taken my vehicle out to test drive it after it had been repaired. It turns out that the coolant system was not properly drained and ended up getting an air pocket in the system that eventually vapor locked the thermostat in the closed position and caused the coolant system to not properly cycle. The technician who had worked on it previously did not notice that the after market radiator was larger than the OEM radiator causing the problem. As for the transmission fluid it had mysteriously filled itself to the proper levels and was now visible on the dipstick, and they all claimed that the fluid is clear and hard to see. Having worked on military aircraft and trucks, diesel trucks, my own personal vehicles, have rebuilt motorcycles, and other motorized equipment that I find it extremely difficult that I would not have been able to see or feel the fluid on my fingers when I checked the levels myself. Nissan did fix the problem by properly filling the transmission, replacing the thermostat that got ruined and properly re-servicing the coolant again, but have failed to send the pictures of the fix of the problem they had caused, nor have I seen the refund that was promised to me last week from their mistake. I was always ready to take my vehicle to them when I needed maintenance or service work done to my vehicle, but after this I will never go back there to have anything done and will not recommend that anyone I know to take their vehicle to them to be looked at. Also to add one of my friends younger brother is a good friend with one of the top guys at Nissan Corporation and told him of my experience at the Missoula dealership and of their work. More

Jesse was quick to respond to my needs. Found a substitute. Second time I have dealt with dealership in buying car.
