Subpar Service Buyer beware of Missoula Nissan Hyundai. Purchased a 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo with under 17,000 miles in January. Car was having transmission probl Buyer beware of Missoula Nissan Hyundai. Purchased a 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo with under 17,000 miles in January. Car was having transmission problems from the beginning. The finance department lied to me about having less than a year of a manufacturer warranty and tricked me into getting an extended warranty for $3,600. Find out from Hyundai Corporation that I had 5 years (2022) or 60,000 miles left of a manufacturer warranty. Canceled the extended warranty, after speaking with Stephen on May 21. Almost a month went by with no reimbursement back to my loan. Spoke with Stephen and he said it was processing. Another few weeks go by, no money distributed. Called back and find out Stephen didn't fax the paperwork in, he gave the task to Marla at the front office and she never sent it in. Took 3 months for me to get my reimbursement from this dealership. Marla sent a $3,600 check regular mail.. which is a huge liability if it was lost or stolen. They had my car for over a month to fix the transmission (after I almost got stranded in Canada and almost had a head on collision while driving 85 on the interstate), Josh the head of the service department told me he was from Mercedes Benz and would take great care of me. Well, he didn't. He never contacted me or followed up with me. The GM Justin is arrogant and has no management skills whatsoever. He blamed me for them selling me a lemon saying that I should have known something was wrong with the transmission. He also told me he would upgrade me to a better loaner car, which he never did. Why? Because he ignored my voicemails and my emails. The service at this dealership is so bad, I had to involve Hyundai Corporate and get a case manager to resolve the subpar service and treatment at this place. This dealership scams people, and provides horrible service. The only person who is helpful is Danielle. She followed up with me, and provided great service, even though she is swamped with excessive work (she is the only front desk person in the service department). She still took the time out of her busy day to take care of me and give me updates. Everybody else is incompetent and can't perform basic tasks. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. This entire situation has been stressful and no one should get lied to, and ghosted after making a large purchase. I advise everyone to take their business elsewhere. More

Oil Chg & Inspection On 08/07/2019, I brought my truck in for routine oil change service. As far as I can tell, that part went very well. Service Advisor Dan Chamberlain On 08/07/2019, I brought my truck in for routine oil change service. As far as I can tell, that part went very well. Service Advisor Dan Chamberlain was very courteous and professional. However, when the service was completed, Dan advised me that service tech, Joshua Howlett, found that my idler arm (steering) was hanging loose and needed to be replaced ASAP. Dan provided an estimate of $220 to $320 depending on the price of the parts. He asked if I wanted to schedule the repairs immediately. I declined, took the vehicle home and inspected the steering mechanism myself. I did not find that the idler arm to be loose, so I took my truck to another reputable mechanic for a thorough check of the steering mechanism. He found that the entire steering mechanism was in excellent condition, including the idler arm, tie rod ends, ball joints, etc. As a result, I am very disappointed in Missoula Nissan/Hyundai's service department, and find it to be untrustworthy if not flat-out dishonest. I will go elsewhere for vehicle service in the future. More
