My car was making a strange noise so I took it in because it was louder when I would accelerate. They test drove it and told me that it was definitely a transmission and that more than likely I would need to it was louder when I would accelerate. They test drove it and told me that it was definitely a transmission and that more than likely I would need to replace it in its entirety ($4000-$5000). But that it at least needed a valve replaced ($2500). No one offered to work on it or schedule an appointment so I took it to a transmission place who called me two hours later saying that it was a wheel bearing and had nothing to do with the transmission. Nissan was more than anxious when I said that if I did need a new transmission that I would buy a new car instead, to offer their services. Making me feel as though they were just wanting to tell me something to get me in a new car and not actually help me. More
