He never pressured us to buy (a really big turn-off for us), but made it clear he wanted our business and would do what it took to get it. Service Department Last time I picked up my vehicle in from service, the service manager (Jim) mentioned there was a small oil leak. That day I did not have time to have Last time I picked up my vehicle in from service, the service manager (Jim) mentioned there was a small oil leak. That day I did not have time to have it checked in detail plus he mentioned it was very small and not critical, it could wait until my next oil change. So when I scheduled my next oil change, I expected a large bill to cover the replacement of the gasket to fix the oil leak. When I picked up my vehicle, I was VERY happy to hear that upon detailed inspection the bolts simply needed to be properly torqued. They made sure everything was OK and I left with more money in my pocket than I expected. An unscrupulous service department would have just torqued the bolts down and charged me for the whole gasket replacement; I would not have been able to tell. It feels good to know when you are dealing with a honest service department that looks out for you and does not try to take as much money from you as they can.
