AWFUL I went to REED before I bought my Siverado LT at NeSmith Chevrolet. Reed treated me like I was a second class citizen, I told them that I was paying I went to REED before I bought my Siverado LT at NeSmith Chevrolet. Reed treated me like I was a second class citizen, I told them that I was paying for my truck with my bank account and they still ran a check through ALL THREE Credit Bureaus and caused my credit score to drop 5 points. I was livid when I left this dealer. I wound up at NeSmith Chevrolet and saw what a dealer and customer relationship was supposed to be, Needless to say, I bought my new Silverado LT from NeSmith. I am a 68 year old gentleman and have purchased a new vehicle every three years and never had to deal with a more ignorant and cocky people than REED!!! More

I take full responsibility for the stupid mistakes I made in this purchase. I did my homework and got the car for the price I wanted to pay. The mistakes I made were not making sure there were 2 key fobs for the car and asking for a full tank of gas BEFORE I agreed to buy the car. Those two things I would have honestly walked out on. I did ask the salesman 3 times if there was a second key fob, and was told that he would find out, but I forgot to pursue it further. The other mistake was not making sure that there was a jack for the car. I looked in the trunk and saw a spare but did not check for a jack. I am disappointed though when I asked if I could bring my own key fob and if they would program it for me, they said yes. So I paid extra to have a key fob overnighted to me, but when I got to the dealership, I was told they could not program the key for me. Total cost for my mistakes: key fob $87, programming by another dealer $150, factory jack and lug wrench $50. Hope this helps someone learn from my mistake. Make a list of items you want before you sign anything, get what you agreed on IN WRITING and have the discipline to walk out if you are not happy. That goes for any dealership. I do like the car tough. More
