We had a terrible experience. We have used the parts department twice. Once to repair a bulging tire and this time for a couple repairs. We purchased a close to 4,000 dollar bumpe We have used the parts department twice. Once to repair a bulging tire and this time for a couple repairs. We purchased a close to 4,000 dollar bumper to bumper warranty and tire warranty when we first bought the car. We were told we would never have to worry about unexpected repairs if we paid up front. The first time they refused to repair the tire unless it completely popped, when it is advised not to drive on a bulging tire, because it can lead to more serious accidents if it were to pop on the road. This time we took it in to get it looked at. They never mentioned any cost for a diagnostic test. They also never asked us if a diagnostic test was okay. They found two problems with my car and told us that one was covered and the other was not. We opted to repair the one not covered ourselves. They then charged us a 164 dollar fee for the diagnostic test. They said it would have been covered if the warranty covered the repair. I could have taken it to the local advanced auto and got it done for free. Not to mention one of the problems they found was covered, but they put the diagnostic under the problem that wasn't covered instead. We have bought two vehicles from Mike Murphy Ford. The first one we did not have a warranty one. We thought the salesman were very helpful and appreciated them, so we bought another vehicle. But since this experience with the warranty, we will not buy another vehicle from them. They took advantage of us, and we will continue to let people know not to use them in the future. More
