Won't refund extended warranty cancelations I bought a new 2016 Corolla s plus from this dealership in Feb 2017. The finance manager sold me an extended warranty which I agreed to because I had I bought a new 2016 Corolla s plus from this dealership in Feb 2017. The finance manager sold me an extended warranty which I agreed to because I had a small business for which I drove about 25k miles per year. In January of this year I decided to go out of business. My new job is only 7 miles from home, so I no longer need the extended warranty. On January 19 I called to cancel the warranty. It was confirmed canceled. A month later I had not received any refund so I called again. There was a new finance manger who seemed very nice, and he said he would look into it and call me back. A week after that he did call me back saying that the 'cancellation person' was in his office and they were going over paperwork for everyone who had canceled something, and again my cancellation was confirmed. It has now been two months since my original call. I called the warranty company this morning and they said that my warranty has not been canceled, it is still active and I need to call the dealership to cancel it. I have tried to call the finance manager several times now and cannot get any return call. I am appalled at the lack of cooperation in this matter. Needless to say, this is very frustrating and I will not be doing business with this dealership again. I have canceled warranties before from other dealers with no problem whatever. More
