I strongly advise caution when dealing with this dealership. Our experience revealed a consistent lack of attention to detail and a failure to address concerns in a timely manner. Despite lofty prom dealership. Our experience revealed a consistent lack of attention to detail and a failure to address concerns in a timely manner. Despite lofty promises, the sales team's actions fell short of expectations. It's a case of "all talk, no action." A disturbing pattern emerges when examining the numerous reviews from other customers who have had similar negative experiences. Upper management appears to be unresponsive to customer satisfaction and ensuring a positive buying experience. Protect yourself from potential frustration and consider alternative options for your car-buying needs, where your happiness and satisfaction are prioritized. More
Very bad experience. I didn't ask for add ons or a warranty. Bruce called my husband about a truck he was interested in. We live two hours away. They knew he was on his way to buy it but they literally sold it to someone else 10 minutes before he got there and basic in. We live two hours away. They knew he was on his way to buy it but they literally sold it to someone else 10 minutes before he got there and basically told him “too bad.” Even though Bruce told him he would call him if anyone else came to look at it since he was driving two hours to get there. My husband got a non-apology and was told they would call him if they got another one in. Why would we waste 4 more hours of our time traveling there and back again if they can’t even hold a vehicle for 2 hours or have the decency to call and say someone else was looking at it. More
ROSS--Very Deceitful and Misleading I put a deposit and placed an order (on 10/10/22) for a Rav 4 XLE Premium Hybrid with the XLE Premium Grade Advanced Tech Package. My son explained that this packag and placed an order (on 10/10/22) for a Rav 4 XLE Premium Hybrid with the XLE Premium Grade Advanced Tech Package. My son explained that this package had parking assist--and Automatic Braking, which was very important to me. I had never had a new car, and I chose the ruby flare exterior with black interior. Ross said the order should come in about 6 to 12 weeks. On Fri. 12/16/22 Ross called me and said "You've been very patient"--and left me know that my car was allotted and being built in Japan. He said he would call me Monday regarding pricing. He did not call, so I called him on 1/3/23. He asked if I had got an email regarding the pricing. No I had not, as I had not previously given my email, so I gave it to him. He said the vehicle would be LESS than previously discussed. It was a lot less, and I said "Really?" He then sent over the information on the vehicle that he said was my order allotment. NOT ONCE did he mention that it had the lower package, instead of the top package that I had ordered which had the brakes that would alarm me if backing too close to something. After receiving the email and reading it, I felt that there had been a mistake. I called Ross back and told him "This is NOT the car I ordered, and Not the package I ordered." Ross said Toyota tries to get it close when allotting a car, but it is not always exact. I said this car has carpet mats (not ordered)--Ross said he would switch them at no charge. I also told him it does not have the automatic braking (which would audibly & visually warn me if too close to something from the rear), and told him that I need that safety feature because I am getting older. Ross quoted to me "It should beep"---I was documenting the conversation as we spoke. Ross said "Why don't you take a look at it, I think you'll like it." Since he said "it should beep", I agreed to look at it when it came in. After thinking over our conversation, by the next day (1/04/23) I was angry--Why didn't Ross tell me that the car was a completely different package, since he obviously knew it was? I called to vent to Ross, and ask how much longer I would have to wait to get the car that I had actually ordered. Ross was off that day, so I asked to speak to another sales rep to get an idea how much longer I would have to wait. I was given to Craig. He told me I would need to talk to Ross. I ended up venting to him, and said I would rather that someone be upfront with me, and tell me the truth, and not mislead me into thinking it was the car I had ordered. Just be truthful. On 1/09/23 I called and spoke to Ross. I told him Craig would have told you that I called and vented to him. He said yes. I told him that I felt that he had been deceitful and misleading to me by not telling me that the car coming in did not have the package I had ordered. He should have explained that to me and gave me the option to look at it. I said "Anyway, can we just start again?" I then asked "How much longer to get the car (with correct package) that I had originally ordered?" Ross said "3 to 4 months, Maybe." It would be what I ordered--but sometimes, not exact. He puts in the order request. We were talking amicably--and Ross said the car that was not what I ordered had arrived Jan. 7th in New Jersey, and they would process on the 11th and arrive to them in approximately 2 weeks. Ross again suggested that I look at the car. Since he had previously told me that it "should beep" if backing close to something, I said OK--I would come up and look at it. He said I think you'll like it. On 1/30/23 I got an email that the above mentioned car came in. I called the dealership. Ross was off that day but Will (sales manager) said I could come up to see and get the car. My son met me there later that day. The car was beautiful and they left us to check it out. We began backing it out getting close to another car, and there was "NO beep or alarm sound". We pulled forward toward another car---Nothing. I was OK with a smaller media touch screen and other downgrades, but NOT OK without any type of backup alarm/beep if too close to something. Will came back outside---He seemed to be encouraging me to take the car, even though he knew I said I needed the above mentioned safety feature. My son told him "Stop trying to push that car down her throat." Will, of course said that he was not--that the car would sell tomorrow, if I did not take it. I told Will that I know that is true, but again told him that I need and want the safety features that I had first ordered. I told Will that I did not want this car and asked "What happens now?--How long to get the car with the package that I had ordered? Will told me that I would be STARTING OVER, that my name would go to THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST. I said that is ridiculous and my son said "that is B___ S---." It seemed to be another ploy to push me into taking this car. After my son and I expressed our above anger, Will then backtracked and said he had spoke out of turn, and apologized several times. He asked me to call Ross early tomorrow to let him know that I was not taking that car. On 1/31/23 I called to talk to Ross at 9:25. He was on the phone and called me back at 11:30. He said he has a car for me. It is the ruby flare color with black interior, Rav 4 XLE premium Hybrid with the exact package (with the braking that I definitely wanted)-- it had everything that I had ordered. Ross said it will be in at the end of March. He said the man that it is supposed to go to, does not want the Ruby Flare Pearl color. (I thought to myself, that is the CAR THAT I ORDERED that is due to come in, although I did not say that to Ross) I was just happy and excited to finally be getting the car that I had ordered at the beginning of October 2022. Ross had to go clean up snow and said he would call me later to talk about it. Ross called me back at 4:20, and now told me that car he had told me about this morning---WAS NOT AVAILABLE. He said the man decided he is going to take it. I felt angry and deceived again. He then said "I have a car you might want--But it is NOT A HYBRID--but is ruby red color, black interior, the correct package"--then he said "For all the miles you drive." (which is not for him to make that call) I then asked--"How did the guy, get the car that Ross talked about this morning? "DO YOU MEAN HE ORDERED BEFORE I DID (which was Oct 10, 2022)?? I told Ross "I think that was MY CAR that was on order that you were talking about. He said "Well--when your car came in, and you said you would look at it--I INTERUPTED and said 'THAT WAS NOT MY CAR." He said "Well the car you were allocated." Ross then said he'll check on some things and get back to me in a couple days. I said "Yes, you do that." On 2/03/23 I walked into the Mike Kelly Toyota at Uniontown, Pa. I walked past Ross who was with a customer. I walked up to a lady in the middle of the store and ask to speak to a manager. The lady was very nice (as were all the ladies anytime I called to speak to Ross). She asked what it was pertaining to, and I told her I wanted a deposit refunded on a vehicle that I had ordered. I told her Ross was deceitful. She said Will was the manager, and went to his office. She said he would be right out. I asked who was the manager over Will. His name is Luke Kim. I actually already knew that, but wanted to see if I could talk to him. She said that he was at Butler that day. Will came out, and I reminded him that I had met him several nights earlier. I told him Ross has been deceitful and was not getting me the car that I want. He said OK, We'll get you a refund. We walked over to Ross's desk (his customer had left). Will told Ross to give me a refund. Ross asked me "Who was your salesman?" (he did not recognize me) I said "YOU". I told him my name. Will asked (kind of to both of us) What is the reason? I told him, Ross is not trying to get me the car I wanted and has been deceitful. Ross said "You called me a liar". I said "You did lie to me." (Note: I actually never used the word liar, but I guess that pretty well sums it up) Ross then said "Well, I've been here 6 years and I have no complaints." I replied "Well, I've been reading reviews, which I should have done before I came here--and THERE ARE COMPLAINTS ABOUT YOU." He did not say anything. Will said "We'll just say it was miscommunication." He told Ross to go get my refund. While waiting for my refund, Will was extremely nice to me, and went to get me his business card. (although I don't doubt that Will already knew most of what was going on) I told Will that I knew Ross would be telling him things that are not true--but I have documented time and dates of every conversation that I have had with Ross. I always took notes while we were talking. On 2/04/23 I went to Spitzer Toyota in Monroeville (which was highly praised by another unsatisfied customer in the Mike Kelly Toyota reviews I read). I ordered the car I have wanted all along, and although I know it may take awhile to come in--I am already much more confident in how the salesman dealt with me. It is like a difference of night and day. More

Emailed the dealer the night before; fielded a call the following morning and established an hour and a half arrival. Sadly upon showtime, the vehicle of communicated interest was in fact being used as a following morning and established an hour and a half arrival. Sadly upon showtime, the vehicle of communicated interest was in fact being used as a personal operating vehicle to the GM, was parked in a handicapped spot and there was no effort to tidy the vehicle for a customer showing. Clearly there was an apparent lack of interest in selling the vehicle: a car seat was in the back, potato chips on the floor, phone charger in its port, reeked of cologne and Nordstrom bags scattered throughout. It was a wasted effort. Additionally, the advertised miles were considerably lower by 2500 miles than actual. All this while staff needing leadership were at the main entrance smoking and a mention of a body part was overheard. We bought from a competitor hours later in Washington, PA. More
Recently stopped to shop for a 2022 tundra. Buyer beware-salesman did not reveal the dealership is marking the tundra up $5000.00 over msrp (sticker price). Not very ethical and the gullible Buyer beware-salesman did not reveal the dealership is marking the tundra up $5000.00 over msrp (sticker price). Not very ethical and the gullible can easily sign a contract without realizing the markup. As for myself I had never heard of a dealer doing this in all of my years of purchasing vehicles. Again-be very cautious of any dealings with this dealer. More
