Truck went in to get AC fixed, after “fixed” I drove 3 blocks and stopped working. Took it back and $4500 later it was fixed. 3 weeks later it stopped working due to a leak. “Fixed” again and 3 weeks lat blocks and stopped working. Took it back and $4500 later it was fixed. 3 weeks later it stopped working due to a leak. “Fixed” again and 3 weeks later quit working again. 6 services and $6k later we will see if it is truly fixed. My 2012 toyota highlander has a annoying beep. It's not constant and you can hear it in the front and back seat. It could be a single beep or a series that could last for minutes. I took it to a shop in wichita who referred me to the Toyota shop in Hutchinson. I made a appt with Jim who told me I'd have to leave it and he would try to get me a loaner since I live in wichita. When I arrived he acted annoyed that the beep wasn't constant and "how were they going to fix it" He asked me to wait and said there were no cars. After 1 hour Fritz came to get me. Of course there was no beeping. We drove around without success. He did ask lots of questions and is so Knowledgeable and yet personalable. He did ask if it was possible that some liquids could have been spilled on the steering wheel. I bought this car new 10 years ago....so yes He took the wheel off and cleaned underneath. He said the wires were sticky and rubbing together. He listened and was so helpful but unfortunately to this day the beep Continues. Not as often though Thanks Fritz for trying. More
