After hearing some radio ads, I decided to stop by Midway Chevrolet. I wanted to trade my 08 Rav 4 in on a new Equinox. I wasn't sure they would be able to do anything for me since I still owed a lot of my Chevrolet. I wanted to trade my 08 Rav 4 in on a new Equinox. I wasn't sure they would be able to do anything for me since I still owed a lot of my Rav. My salesman was Keith. He was knew a lot about the cars and answered all my questions with ease. He really helped me pick out the right car with the right features for me. Ok to the financing...I was still scared that I was going to put a ton of cash down to get rid of my Rav. To my suprise, that was not the case. I ended up putting 1,500 down and only increased my payment $100 for a car I liked a whole lot better. Not to mention a way better interest rate (my Rav was my first car purchase). My finance guy was nice. I was not going to add any warranties but after having them explained to me, I decided they were a good deal. All and all it was a great experience. I would buy from them again. More
I would like to start off by mentioning how wonderful my experience at Midway Chevrolet was. I called the dealership Friday afternoon and spoke to a manager named Steve tucker. Steve was attentive to my nee experience at Midway Chevrolet was. I called the dealership Friday afternoon and spoke to a manager named Steve tucker. Steve was attentive to my needs and seemed to be very educated on the product and specials they were running. I showed up Saturday afternoon to meet Steve in person. Not only was Steve ready for me with the vehicle pulled up waiting for me, he made the entire process pleasant and hassle free. I have bought many cars in my life and by far would recommend Midway Chevy and Steve Tucker. The Dealership was clean, the process was done in a timely manner, and the overall experience was great. So my suggestion would be this...if you are currently in the market for a new or used Chevy....go down to Midway and ask for Steve. More
Run AWAY. DON'T STOP. SAVE YOUR TIME. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Run AWAY. DON'T STOP. SAVE YOUR TIME. SAVE YOUR MONEY. THIS NIGHTMERE STARTED ON JAN.14,2011. I HAD HERD ON THE RADIO HOW MIDWAY WOULD HELP THOSE T Run AWAY. DON'T STOP. SAVE YOUR TIME. SAVE YOUR MONEY. THIS NIGHTMERE STARTED ON JAN.14,2011. I HAD HERD ON THE RADIO HOW MIDWAY WOULD HELP THOSE TO REBUILD THEIR CREDIT. OVER THE YEARS I HAD BOUGHT A LOT OF VECHILES FROM MIDWAY. SO THIS IS GOOD I WENT. IN 2008 I WAS INJURED, LOST EVERYTHING. SO BEEN TRYING TO GET BACK ON TRACK. BEFORE I NEW I WAS BUYING A USED 2006 BUICK. I GAVE THEM MY OLD CAR PLUS $500.00 DOLLARS DOWN. THEN AFTER A FEW DAYS, WAS CALLED ASK TO RETURN. I WAS THEN TOLD THE LOAN COMPANY DIDN'T LIKE THE DEAL. I AM ON SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILTY, I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF MONEY. THEY HAD ME WRITE A ANOTHER CHECK FOR $600.00. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HOLD. I WAS TO PAY $150.00 PER MONTH. AFTER 2 WEEKS OR LESS I WENT UP THERE MADE MY FIRST PAYMENT OF $150. PLUS WROTE THEM A HOLD CHECK OF $450.00. I FIGURED THEY TARE UP THE $600.00 CHECK. MAYBE 2 DAYS LATER THE TWO CHECKS FOR $150, & $450 WAS PUT IN THE BANK AN BOUNCED. I FIGURE SO MUCH FOR THEIR WORD. I COVERED THE CHECKS, ONLY ASK THEM TO COVER THE $70.00 NSF FEES. I GOT THE RUN AROUND ON THIS. THEN ON FRIDAY FEB.11,2011 I LOOKED AT MY BALANCE IN THE BANK. MIDWAY HAD DEPOSITED THE $600.00 CHECK. I WENT UP TO MIDWAY THAT MORNING, DEMANDING TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER. SHOWED HIM ALL MY PROOF. HE THEN HAD A CHECK FOR $670.00 CUT, I THEN DEPOSITED. Feb. 15,2011 Was ask to come to the Dealer. Went up and they cleared up all the problems with my deal. I would have to give most of the credit to Rick Stephenson & Mr Stewart with out them I don't think it would of had the same out come. I would sugest if you have any problem go to these guys. I KNOW THE SAYING LET THE BUYER BEWARE. BUT AFTER ALL THE TRADES I HAVE MADE THERE....THE LOAN COMPANY ON MY OLD CAR HAS BEEN CALLING. THEY HAVE YET TO PAY THEM OFF. I AM HANDICAP, SO CAN'T GET DOWN ON THE GROUND, TO LOOK AT THE CAR. WHEN THE CAR WAS ON THE LOT I COULD SEE THEY HAD REPLACED THE 2 FRONT TIRES. CHEAP BUT NEW. THE REAR TIRES HAD TIRE SHINE ON THEM. SO THEY LOOKED NICE. BUT HAD THE CAR ON THE CAR LIFT TODAY, REAR TIRES ARE DOWN TO WEAR BARS. THEY ONLY REPLACED WHAT YOU CAN SEE. I KNOW IT IS MY FAULT, IF I COULD OF SEEN THEM I WOULD OF SPOKE UP. ALL IN ALL. I ONLY WISH I HAD NEVER HERD THE MESSAGE ON THE RADIO. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPEN TO MIDWAY. BUT THEY WILL NEVER SEE MY BUISNESS AGAIN... More
Let me start by saying I don't complain often. I believe these days you simply roll with the punches and accept that customer satisfaction is at the bottom of the list for most businesses. Everyone is out t these days you simply roll with the punches and accept that customer satisfaction is at the bottom of the list for most businesses. Everyone is out to take your money and do as little as possible from that point on. Having said that, the experience I had with Midway Chevrolet by far was the worst buying experience of my life. I know one person's opinion doesn't matter much in a world full of complainers but if I can somewhat contribute to destroying the reputation of this dealership and these sales people then I will be satasfied. I was recently in the market to purchase a black or "cyber grey" 2011 Chevy Camaro. Having recently filed for a chapter 7 bankruptcy my options were limited as to where I could go to buy a car. I had between $2500-$5000 to put down on the car. I called the dealership and asked for Jay Lawrence who had been frequently calling my phone and leaving messages to see if i was interested in a new car, Jay was busy at the time so I spoke with another salesman (forgot his name). I told him my whole situation with my income, my down payment, the type of car I wanted. He told me he had the color and model I wanted in stock which I came to find out later they didn't. They assured me they could purchase the car from a different dealer and said the car would be ready the next day. They charged $2000 onto my Visa and said they would contact me the following day. The next day (Saturday) came and went and no call. I called Jay on Sunday and left a voicemail and never heard back. On Monday I assumed the car would be there so I called Jay again and he assured me the car would be ready by the end of the day and he would call me when it was. The day went by and I never heard back from him. I called again that evening and he said he wasn't able to get it but he again assured me it would be ready the next day. The next day came and went and still no call. I decided to call the dealership the car was originally at, at Brown and Brown in Mesa and they confirmed that the car was still sitting on their lot. I called Jay Lawrence back and he again told me he had the deal done but he would not have it until the next day. I spoke of my displeasure and stated if the car wasn't ready the next day that I would no longer have it. I received a call from Stefan that same night who apologized for the situation and assured me the car would be ready the next day and he would even personally deliver it. The next day came and went and no call. I tried to contact the sales manager who also did nothing, and had a bunch of people yelling and laughing in the bankground when I was trying to explain the situation. Stefan called back the next day and informed me that he wasn't going to be able to get the car and that he would reverse the transaction onto my Visa the same day. A week goes by and the money still is not in my account. I call back Stefan and he informed me that the he would check on the situation and get back to me. He never did. I ended up buying another car from another dealer and writing a check for the down payment thinking the $2000 would be in my account within days, but it never was. The check ended up being processed and I was hit with fees from my bank for not having the money in my account. I called back Stefan and he says again he will check on the situation and call me back. To my surprise he called back about and hour later and asked for my card number so he could reverse the transaction --something he should have done 2 weeks earlier. He says it should take a couple days to process. 4 days go by and still nothing. I contacted my bank to see if there was an attempt to reverse the transaction and they said they show no type of transaction being attempted. I ended up putting a claim in through the credit card fraud department of the bank just to get my money back. Not exactly the type of situation a person wants to experience not only when buying a car but trying to reestablish their credit. This dealership is pathetic. I would highly recommend not going here but instead trying Brown and Brown and talking to Keyon. They have a more straight-forward approach that you can only respect. If you do go to this dealership atleast try to avoid the people I have mentioned above. I know 95% of salesmen are scum but these two take the cake. More
Hello, My name is Gildardo Aleman and I bought a car Hello, My name is Gildardo Aleman and I bought a car from them on 12/19/10. My overall experience with them has been really bad. The sales team wa Hello, My name is Gildardo Aleman and I bought a car from them on 12/19/10. My overall experience with them has been really bad. The sales team was great, but once you go to the financing people just beware. I had negotiated a 3.59% for 66 months for a 2011 Chevy Malibu LT. Brandon from Sales insisted that I got the Gap insurance and finally he convinced me to do it. he gave me a a monthly payment of around $459 for 66 months with everything included. This was on a Sunday and on Monday I got a call back that they could not finance the vehicle, but that was the last time I heard from him. After numerous calls he sent me a text on Thursday telling me that he had just came back from Mexico, but that he was going to get back to me. It never happened. I called the dealer twice and spoke to 2 different persons. Once in English and once in Spanish. I do not remember the name of the person that spoke to me in English, but the one that spoke to me in Spanish his name is Flavio. I was told that my loan got approved for 60 months and for $455 a month. I was really happy, but was suspicious because no one ever called me to sign a new contract. When I get the statement from the bank I got a really nice surprise, but payment was $455 a month, but my loan had been extended to 72 months. I went back to the dealership and they showed me the papers that I signed and I had signed a 72 months contract, but he was telling verbally (back on 12/19/10) that it was only for 66 months. Since I was in a hurry to get out of there (after 5 hours of being there) I did noticed that he changed that part of the contract. Anyways I am screwed, but let my story hopefully save someone from this scam. Beware everyone. I am not making anything. Look on the reviews for Brandon Goldstein and you'll see that I am not the first person that he has done it. My e-mail address is gildardoaleman@yahoo.com More
I traded in my car and bought a new Chevy Silverado at this dealership on Thursday 12/2. On Friday 12/3 (the next day) the deal falls through due to financing. The shady finance guy Brandon tries to get m this dealership on Thursday 12/2. On Friday 12/3 (the next day) the deal falls through due to financing. The shady finance guy Brandon tries to get me to apply for a loan through a bank he says "doesnt verify anything" so we can put whatever we want on there to get it approved. I told him I was not comfortable with that and since there were no other options and they had to cancel the deal. After this everyone there got very rude and short with me. They would not return phone calls, they would ignore me if I came into the dealership. It took a week of me going in there everyday and finally calling the police to get my trade in back from this dealership. They have horrible business practices and should not be trusted. More
This was my first time dealing with Midway Chevy. I started my dealings through the internet and received a call back very quick from Kenny. He answered all my questions without any pressure. My wife a started my dealings through the internet and received a call back very quick from Kenny. He answered all my questions without any pressure. My wife and I made a appointment to go in and see the truck we where lookin at on a Sunday. We where treated well and agian not pressured at all. we then sat down with Steve and worked the numbers. He made things work just the way we asked for and kept are payment where we wanted it. He also found us more discounts then we thought where there. I submitted and application online and talked to Bernie who assured me that even with shakey credit they had several options for vehicles that I would be interested and without a down payment. The nect per who assured me that even with shakey credit they had several options for vehicles that I would be interested and without a down payment. The nect person I heard from was Mike P. I asked him both times I spoke with him over the phoen exactly how much I was apporved for and he said he wasn't sure but that they could definitly get me into the car I was intersted in without any money down and in my payment range. I made the trek to Midway, and hour and half drive from Queen Creek where I was house sitting. Moments upon arrical I was informed that without a downpayment of $1500 they could do nothing for me. I understand with poor credit that this could have been an issue but should have been informed during the 3 different phone calls prior to my arrival at the dealership. Addtionally, the first thing the sales person said to me when I showed up was that they all worked 13 hours a day. I would for an airline that is famous for customer service and would never dream of complaining to a cusotmer about the length of day I had worked. Completely unprofessional. Do not waste your time with this dealership!! More
At the beginning, things went smoothly and I purchased 2011 Tahoe. 3 days later, they called me in for few changes in paperwork but as I walked in, they said no good and took away Tahoe option. I was dumb 2011 Tahoe. 3 days later, they called me in for few changes in paperwork but as I walked in, they said no good and took away Tahoe option. I was dumbfounded and ended up throwing in my Camaro in order to keep Tahoe. That was my big mistake because we need 2 cars so I called Matt about dropping the deal and take two cars back and he said ok. When we came in, everything went wrong. We get different salesperson and manager talking to us and kept us for couple hours ending up saying they is willing to let us take 1 car back but not to let us get our Camaro back. Lastly the manager held up Tahoe keys and saying no dice. Natually I lost temper with the team for not cooperating with me. BEWARE!! BE EXTRA CAREFUL WITH YOUR BARGAINING AND SIGNING PAPERS! Be sure you are satisfied with your deal before closing it up because once it is done, they do not give a s@#* about you (following up to ensure you are happy with your purchase, etc). Now I drive Tahoe and it gives me bitter memory of Midway team's attitude toward customers daily. If I were you, take your business elsewhere and do not step on this dealership lot EVER! More
