WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!! I have purchased 12+ cars in my day and have never seen such unorganized, rude and shady people in my life. I had to make 5 visits to this dealership just to finsh the deal. They kept calling me back and saying the interest rate had gone up or something else happened so my payment kept going up. This is all after I already had the car!! It was extemely messed up. Before I went through with buying the car, I wanted it tinted and newer tires since the ones on the car were very used. They said "oh yeah no problem!". It literally took me 3 months, 50+ phone calls and hours of time to get this achieved and it took 2 separate visits! They did the tires but then said they had to get the tint approved and it never happened. So more calling over the next few weeks and I finally got someone to ok the tint. It was a horrible experience and the biggest car buying disaster I have ever seen or heard about. BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

Two weeks after purchasing a chevy malibu from midway chev i received a phone call telling me i needed to sign some more papers- when i went to sign and asked what i was signing- i was informed that this chev i received a phone call telling me i needed to sign some more papers- when i went to sign and asked what i was signing- i was informed that this should of been explained to me on the phone, which it never was. I was then told to look over the papers and compare them to the ones i had at home so see what the differences were. when i did this i realized that the interest rate had went up signifcantly- i then decided that i no longer wanted the vehicle due to this finding. I realize that my credits not the best, but feel like this should of been explained to me. And why wait 2 weeks after i had the car? Well when i went to return the vehicle i was asked what happened- i explained this to Flavio- my salesman and he understood. He stated that the way they did this to me wasnt right and i agreed. As we were wrapping up- one of the finance workers, Jerry was his name came into the office and asked us what was going on (why we were returning the car) i explained that the interest was way to high and so on. Jerry told my fiance and i that he wasnt sure where we got out math skills from- basically implying that we didnt know what we were talking about. My fiance told him that only and idiot would take this deal and Jerry replied to us that maybe "we were fucken idiots" At this point i was shocked that he would say this to us, not to mention there were several other customers that could clearly hear him insulting us. I am appauled that this employee would think that this behavior is acceptable towards any customer of midway chev. I have never in my life experienced anything like this. I work with people everyday (in healthcare) and i dont care how stupid i thought a patient was being i would NEVER raise my voice at them, cuss, or insult them for any reason. This is completely unacceptable!! I was very happy in the beginning with my experience at midway and told everyone but unfortunately i had to change my story and let people know about how i was treated that night at midway instead. I hope that this particular employee doesnt have the chance to treat customers like this again. This was a horrible and shocking experience that we will never forget. More

I was in Midway Chevy and bought a Brand New Silverado. I want to say there is noone that was more curtious, friendly and efficient than my salesman Greg Roden. I went car shopping this past weekend and I have to say that Midway Chevrolet was very helpful and professional. Neil Underfoot has got to be the most unprofessional manager I have ever dealt with. He used profanity and yelled at me and called me a liar. I have been looking to buy a new car for a while.  I have shopped around at several dealerships to compare pricing over the past couple months and found that I could get the best deal at Midway.  Everyo have shopped around at several dealerships to compare pricing over the past couple months and found that I could get the best deal at Midway.  Everyone I dealt with was very courteous and professional.  I did not run into any problems and the paperwork reflected all the details that we had discussed.  I am enjoying my new car and will definitely buy my future cars from them.  I would highly recommend buying a car from Midway. Unfortunately I did not check this website and these reviews before calling and going to look at new cars at Midway Chevrolet on Bell Road. I wasted 3+ hours at Midway Chevrolet. Maybe I can save someone else the frustration I experienced there yesterday. If you are considering a car purchase from Midway Chevrolet I have two suggestions for you; #1 Do not go there. #2 Instead of going to Midway Chevrolet just go to see Eric Steffes (602-430-6983) at Courtesy Chevrolet on Camelback and 12th Street. Based on my experience, and apparently the experience of others that have written reviews on this web site, Midway Chevrolet is really a classic example of why car dealers have less then a stellar reputation. Yesterday, 2/26/2011, I went to Midway completely ready to purchase a new car. And they had a car on their lot that I wanted to purchase. In the past I have probably purchased 20-25 cars so I’m fairly familiar with the process. Never before have I had an experience like I had yesterday at Midway Chevrolet. If you do go there be extremely careful and make them slowly explain the numbers and terms before you sign anything. Believe it or not, they were filming the signing of documents when I went into the financing person’s office. It seemed as if that person in the financing office took forever trying to sell me an extended warranty or service contract. That extended warranty or service contract was going to cost me an extra $408 a month in addition to my car payment. Yes, that was in addition to the actual car payment! When I declined that extended warranty or service contract he started to very quickly go over the numbers and terms of the car purchase agreement. Luckily I was able to catch that they were able to meet my negotiated monthly payment amount by extending my car loan to 6 years. I suggest that you be extremely careful regarding the numbers you sign for if you go there. You might get home with you new car and be surprised at what you signed. After I caught the 6 year loan term I told them that was not acceptable. The finance person left and in came the most unprofessional person I have ever met in any car dealership. I eventually told him that I was leaving. I requested that he return the keys and registration for the car that I had wanted to trade in. Well, they could not find or locate my car keys or registration. They even tried to tell me that I had to just accept a “copy” of my vehicle registration. It got to the point that I was ready to dial 911 and call the local police department to report my car as stolen. Eventually I received my car keys and registration, and left. Yes, this was their “customer appreciation” at it’s finest! Next I went to Courtesy Chevrolet a few miles away at Camelback and 12th Street. They also had a car on their lot that I wanted to purchase. At Courtesy Chevrolet I met Eric Steffes and worked with him and George to complete the purchase of my new car. Two hours after I walked into Courtesy Chevrolet I was leaving with my new car, totally pleased with how the whole process and transaction took place. Eric and George were incredibly professional and there was absolutely no pressure or ugliness whatsoever. When I went in to sign the paperwork with their finance person there was not even any heavy handed pressure to purchase an extra service contract or extended warranty. And the finance person thoroughly explained the details of what I was signing and answered all of my questions patiently and unhurriedly. From start to finish, everything in my purchase at Courtesy Chevrolet was conducted as it should have, with dignity and professionalism. Before shopping for a car check out the reviews for these two dealerships. In hindsight I wish that I had checked the reviews first. I would not have wasted the 3+ hours I spent at Midway Chevrolet. I have personally seen why there is such a contrast in the reviews for these dealerships. Call Courtesy Chevrolet, ask for Eric Steffes, and you will see the difference. I would very strongly recommend Courtesy Chevrolet and Eric Steffes to everyone. More
