Amazing Experience, Thanks Gil Came in today thinking that if we got a good deal we might be interested in a new Traverse. Gil Martinez made the process as painless as possible. They know how to sale cars but once you buy no follow up. This is a typical car dealership, as friendly as they all appear, they are there to sell cars, remember they are not your friends. This was my firs This is a typical car dealership, as friendly as they all appear, they are there to sell cars, remember they are not your friends. This was my first experience buying a used car in Arizona. I saw one of their advertisement on TV, Car for Clunkers, $3500 cash for your old cars. When I got there and evaluated my car they immediately found reasons within minutes not to honor their publicity. They will find a reason to give you less money. Typical to get you through the door. They noticed that I was not happy about the overall price, they increased a bit the value of my old car but not to the $3500 advertise and removed $1000 from the extra options they were trying to push on me, that were costing 1395$. Don't take their pushed options, however I got suck in to pay for the ZAKTEK paint protector, $350, to find out afterword that you can get single coat application of ZAKTEK for $29 in Scottsdale, check on line. My cost included 3 years of application, one coat every 6 months but on top of that there is no product warranty because the car is not eligible according to the fine print of the contract. So I get one application every 6 months for 3 years that is 6 applications for a cost of $358 instead of $180 somewhere else. Be aware of extra options the push on you. But really where I most dissatisfied and I sadly deplore that my salesmen, however very friendly, before I bought the car never return any of my inquiries following the sale, it has been one week and no word, radio silence. It was very simple, he was supposed to try to get information and price to get a second set of keys as this used car only had one key, as you know today's keys are expensive. Would I go back, probably, I would be more prepared, I know what to expect now, I know their game, so remember get every thing in writing before you signed the doted line. If it is not in the contract you better forget about it. EDITING UPDATE: Coincidence or not after posting I got a call from their department regarding the car key and an appointment has been set up to make a second key. So it appears everything ends well. Would I go back, probably, I would be more prepared, I know what to expect now, I know the game, so remember get every thing in writing before you signed the doted line. If it is not in the contract you may have to forfeit. More
Gil Martinez' amazing customer service I applied online playing with the idea I should trade in my fiancés car (loan in his name) for a car in my name to rebuild my credit. This was a long I applied online playing with the idea I should trade in my fiancés car (loan in his name) for a car in my name to rebuild my credit. This was a long ahot but figured why not.. Gil emailed me bright and early the following morning and we then went from there. I drove an hour and a half to Phoenix Midway Chevrolet not knowing if he'd be able to help me achieve my goal. From the second we shook hands, there was trust. He didn't give me the "how much can you spend" line. He didn't even bring up the car buying idea. He spoke to me about my credit report, taught me how to read each letter and number- what they stood for. I learned that piece of paper I was intimidated by for all these years following a divorce and losing my income wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was. He taught me how to rebuild from there, how to plan out my next year working towards my credit goal. Eventually we talked about my initial plan- he didn't show me but one car. That car, he worked up the numbers- added in discounts and rebates.. Factored in my trade in and it's negative equity.. I drove away in that car. I now am enjoying a 2015 Chevy Malibu, rebuilding my credit, have the knowledge from what I'd call his "free credit advice" to make my life easier. Today couldn't have gone any better and I thank Gil Martinez for taking the time out of his day to ensure I walked out of there knowing what I was doing in this confusing credit battle (which isn't that confusing using at all!) I recommend this dealership to anyone for any reason and most importantly recommend talking to Gil if you have concerns regarding your credit and factoring in your vehicle purchase. More

I had gone to several places to get an idea of what game plan I needed and Gil Martinez was the only person who didn't scare me off with the typical salesman personality. I am in sales myself and I appreciated the way he really understood what I wanted, wanted I didn't want, how much I wanted to spend, etc. He also worked from the bottom up, rather than the top down. So while the typical car-buying experience can be like Chinese water torture, he actually made it enjoyable and never played the back and forth game that I don't have time or energy for. I was aware of every detail the entire time and I drove off in a gorgeous 2015 Malibu LT. He is also extremely knowledgeable, so not only do you get a great sales person who is on YOUR team, you also are working with an expert that can answer any question about any car, down to fun facts and details. He is a great story teller too! I would only recommend him to my friends and family, so when you go see him, tell him NATASHA sent you! :-) More

The service department was empty as well two people in the waiting area not a single car waiting in service bay. Nothing but excuses as to why an oil change takes two hours. Got an idiot named Patrick who must have just started there because he didn't have a clue. We sat down and I told him I wanted a basic bare bones with no bells and whistles. I said a 4 cyl., no upgrades, compact as in a Chevy Cavalier, Cobalt, or Pontiac Sunfire. Looking for an older one for about $6-8k. He brings a $15,000 Sonic out and says , "I think we can get close." Then a 2011 Malibu with all the extras. First he lied to me about the year and miles. So dishonest. Did not LISTEN to a thing I said and then lied to get me back on the lot. When I wouldn't buy the Malibu, he came over and got angry and started insulting me in front of my daughter. Told me to not come back again and waste HIS time. He wasted my time twice by not listening to what I wanted. The sales manager was nice and was the only reason I went back the second time. They flat out didn't have what I was looking for and should have told me. Instead they lost my business and my daughters who thinks they are liars and cheats. Sad. More

Childish and hung up on me when i had a problem with how she was talking to me. Called back twice and got answering machine. Next thing i know a repo guy is harrassing me at work telling my boss i stole the car and the cops are comming almost getting me fired. Craziest experience of my life. I now have new car through different dealer and am very happy with it. More
