Mid-Tenn Ford is by far the best dealership in Tennesee. They always go above and beyond what is required to be 5 stars in service, the body shop and when you buy a vehicle! SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUCKS 2 reviews Share review Embed review Edit review 1.0 star rating 5/10/2019 If I 2 reviews Share review Embed review Edit review 1.0 star rating 5/10/2019 If I could go below 1 I would. My daughter took her truck there on 5/8/19 at 8 am. Did not receive a phone call all day even after calling multiple times for an update. We go there at 5pm and everyone has gone they didn't even look at it. Today is the 9th day and we still don't know anything. We are constantly being told this tech needs to look at it then this tech needs to look at it. this takes a day for each tech. You leave multiple messages with humans and on voice mail and if your lucky you will get a phone call to tell you they don't know anything yet. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MID TENN FORD!! More
Steve is super friendly and helpful. I needed an inexpensive part to fix my truck and he spent time finding it when they were really busy. Very nice guy. is super friendly and helpful. Screwed up factory recall and lied about it. I took my truck in for a factory service recall based on a letter I received. I had researched the service recall and knew exactly what part needed to be replaced. I also knew that the replaced part was an upgraded part that was a different color. I made the appointment and took the truck in for service. Got the call it was ready and picked it up. On the way home, the truck died - which was a symptom of the recalled part. I got it home and checked on the engine. The original part was still in the truck, still covered with grease. I took photos of it with my phone and then printed out the details from Ford to show that the new part would be a different color. I had to argue with the service counter that the part had not been replaced because his "paperwork" said it had. That was until I showed him the photos. Of course, they fixed the part but again I had to leave the truck (15 minute job) and come back later and get it. I have not been back there and don't plan to go back. More
It's pretty hard to earn a 1 star rating from me. I always do my best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. In fact this is the second time that I've had them work on my vehicle. The first time I always do my best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. In fact this is the second time that I've had them work on my vehicle. The first time I need the electric fan motor replaced. Parts = $125 Labor=$1235 The job took three days and I never received a single phone call. I had to call for updates. This time, I was able to give them my cell phone number to receive text message updates. and I was sure that they figured they had their act together. Three text messages over the following 4 days. Awaiting diagnostics, Work in Process, Awaiting service bay... I called twice a day, and each time was promised a call back a few hours later. Each time, two hours after the deadline, I had to call. All I asked for was to check the cold start, and to do a multi-point inspection with fluid checks. Today, I was told that they engine started within three seconds and the computer didn't put out any codes. So everything was fine. They had not done any inspection or fluid level checks as indicated on their paperwork. They asked for another two days and told me that I was already up to $125 on my bill. $125 to start the motor and plug it into the computer? I spent more time on hold than they did working on my vehicle. EDIT: I had to put up a stink, but they ended up charging me nothing and they did finally perform the multi-point inspection as well. This effort to make things right has upped my rating from a 1 star review. I might give them one more shot now. More
