The dealership is selling cars with known issues it seems. Was a coolant leak once we received it. None of the USB ports work on the car, and the rear air climate controls do not work at all. Got a good deal on the car, as it was a concierge vehicle previously. But, in order to get the deal, they made the “Metro Ford Guarantee” package (where you pay like $2,000, but get lifetime oils changes, et previously. But, in order to get the deal, they made the “Metro Ford Guarantee” package (where you pay like $2,000, but get lifetime oils changes, etc free) “Mandatory.” I’m not sure we would have purchased that option if we could have bought the car without it. Then, we were told one price, but the numbers were put in wrong on the trade-in value by mistake- so, when we got back to the finance section, the final monthly amount ended up being more than we were told/wanted it to be. Again, it was a descent deal overall, so we proceeded with the purchase, but it didn’t exactly give us the “good vibes” of getting a new car. I don’t have full confidence that they will always do everything promised. I got a very distinct feeling that we were “sold” a lot of stuff, but it could be harder to actually get the services done in the future. I think time will tell on that one. As we bought the extended warranty (which we had planned to do anyways), and were forced to get the Metro Ford Guarantee package- I hope they live up to their end in the future! More
Last time I got an oil change and tire rotation, they changed the oil and charged me for the tire rotation. I marked the tires and they didn’t rotate them. Dustin in the service department was friendly, efficient, and kept us informed. I also went to the parts department to make a purchase. Looking for a used F150 for our son, and we thought this one was very fairly priced.... $23,200....we didn't haggle. We said sold, we will buy the truck. The invoice comes back at OVER $30,000. They said since we weren't financing or trading in a vehicle, the internet price wasn't valid. Mind you, early on in our visit, we told them we would be paying cash and not financing or trading in a vehicle. Zero mention of the price changing. A test drive and about 90 minutes later.....price change. They will lie and tell you we tried to negotiate or asked them to cover an independent third party inspection....complete lie.
