Adventures in Purchasing a new SLC 300! In late February, I started the process of purchasing a new 2018 Mercedes SLK as a "surprise" birthday present for my wife. This new vehicle would rep In late February, I started the process of purchasing a new 2018 Mercedes SLK as a "surprise" birthday present for my wife. This new vehicle would replace her 2013 Mercedes 350 SLK which was also purchased as a surprise gift. Having survived that first "surprise" experience five years ago, I decided that this surprise would actually be a "surprise" visit to the dealership so that she could select the specific model, color and options that she wanted rather than an actual vehicle that I picked out. Our initial visit with Matt Reimel went quite well and with a great deal of patience on Matt's part, my wife was successful in defining exactly the 2018 Mercedes that she wanted so we placed an order. Without going into a great deal of explanation, we soon found that the specific color/equipment combinations were not available as production of the 2018 model year vehicles was coasting down. Needless to say this was a big disappointment and put a real damper on my surprise gift! Matt was, however, determined to make this gift happen and after working again very patiently with the "Birthday Girl," he and she were able to configure a 2019 Mercedes SLC 300 that met every one of her requirements. Well... that is not the end of this story... We now had to wait for the car to be built and shipped to the USA and then delivered to the West Chester dealership. Matt kept us informed all along the journey, even to the point of finding out the name of the vessel that was taking my wife's "surprise" gift from Germany to Baltimore. This allowed me to track the ship's progress across the ocean. Although her March birthday gift arrived in September, looking back on the experience, I can only say "Thanks, Matt. She loves her present!" More

I was driving on my way to my other medical practice and I had to fill the tire up twice in order to make it there . Then on my way home I needed to fill it up twice more in order to get home . I called and left a message on Thursday night but no one returned my call . I was out of town over the weekend and I had to take it this Monday morning October 1 to Mercedes of Cherry Hill they replaced the tire but I have to wait for the rim which will be there on Wednesday, October 3 . More
