We visited Mercedes Benz of South Charlotte about 5-6 months ago, just to "look around" to see inventory, prices, and the dealership facilities. We were treated with a warm welcome, enjoyed the tour and all our questions were answered. We were impressed by the people and the facility. No push to buy anything--just wanted to answer all our questions. On March 14, 2014--we returned to test drive several cars and found a 2011 E-350 wagon we were interested in. Again, all our questions were answered--we said we like the car and need to spend a few days thinking about the wagon and/or a SUV. On Monday, March 17,2014---we returned and worked out a deal that was fair. Our numbers did not match up at first, but like most sales, reasonable discussion, compromise and respect allowed us to reach a great price. John was extremely helpful, kind and respectful. No pressure, just tons of service and making sure all our questions were answered. The level of professionalism by the staff, including Mark the finance manager, was apparent throughout the shopping and buying experience. This is our 1st Mercedes, and based on the care, quality and experience, I feel they will very likely get more of our business in the future. More
I had to place a custom order to get exactly what I wanted and John was so helpful and patient as I made changes throughout the production. I was looking for a vehicle to replace a recently totalled Infiniti. When we pulled in to MB of South Charlotte I was not really expecting to purchase. I had been through the grind of car shopping for a couple weeks and was not feeling optimistic. Then John Glaser introduced himself and my opinion changed. John took the time to listen to my needs and understand what I was looking for. He was patient and thorough and showed me options that fit my needs. When we found the right car the negotiation process was as open and painless as any I've experienced. I left with a great car at a fair price and with a high level of confidence that the dealer truly values their customers. I would highly recommend them and especially John Glaser. More

My experience with buying cars could be summarized with "if I had a good experience, it's been fluke" untill March 1, 2014 when I, along with my wife and daughter paid a SECOND visit to Felix Sabates Merce "if I had a good experience, it's been fluke" untill March 1, 2014 when I, along with my wife and daughter paid a SECOND visit to Felix Sabates Mercedes-Benz dealership of South Charlotte. The fact is, we live 150 miles away in Evans Georgia with a not so impressive MB dealership located 10 miles from our home in Augusta GA. In late January, we decided to trade up from our GLK (which we purchased new from the Sabates dealership) to an E-350. In early February we stopped by the Augusta GA MB dealer and was immediately welcomed by an ambitious sales person who proved knowledgeable about the E-350 and available inventory. Not satisfied we were getting a "good deal" based on what was on their lot, my wife contacted Mr. Darius Brown who collaborated with his sales manager (Georgia Buys) to find the exact car we were looking for, down the last detail. Moreover, this search was performed in a matter of minutes, saving US time! The key points that I wish to make are: Integrity- From the first phone call to driving off the lot. Comfortable- Darius, Georgia, Fred and the rest of the Sabates team were most sincere and made us feel welcomed and wanted, almost like we owned the place. Because of our positive buying experience, my daughter plans to trade her S-40 Volvo in for the CLA and I'm looking hard at the ML and GL. I have shared our experience with neighbors and friends and recommend Felix Sabates Mercedes-Benz of South Charlotte without hesitation or reservation. More

I have purchased many automobiles over a number of years. This was the most comfortable and memorable of them all. Mr. Kimrey has sold us our last couple of cars. We have always enjoyed working with him. He as always been very professional towards us as well as very personable and friendly. When South Charlotte lost Duke Craig as a sales professional my husband went to Darrell and told him that we wanted him to help us on our next car which was my e55o. I think we were very pleased with the process. My husband calls on Darrell occasionally when he needs help on his car. Big or small Darrell is always there to help and it has nothing to do with selling a car. It's fantastic customer service!!!! We remember these little acts of kindness. More
My purchase was a very interesting experience. We initially made contact with John Glaser, and he was very helpful. I found the car online and made initial contact with him via phone. He went out of his way to send me pictures of everything I requested. Unfortunately we are from out of town and had to drive to see the car on a weekend. We were a little late for our meeting and John had another client he was working with. So we got the "INTERESTING" opportunity to meet Adam Putnam to do the deal. I do understand that he was not aware of all the conversations that John and I had, but the deal was done, pending a test drive and visual inspection. Needless to say Adam was not very helpful and very uneducated on the Lexus SUV. It would have been a more pleasurable experience if we could have just test drove the car and left a check with no interaction from Adam. Then after all the "lackluster" attitude and several hours to get the deal pulled together, he tells us there is no spare key! This was just "icing on the cake" for a terrible situation. I kept my cool and went over to John and asked if he could take care of this for me. He said that he would and kept the deal together. When a sales person tells you after everything has been done that you have just bought a car for nearly $50k but we are not providing you a spare key??? His exact words were,"sometimes these things happen and we don't provide keys if it is not a Mercedes(or car we carry)". I hope you feel as I do and that this is not the way the issue should have been handled, but maybe that is your policy and I was just misinformed. Again, the store was beautiful and everyone was very polite and helpful(except our salesman), from Marc in the payment office to the lady at the front desk we enjoyed speaking with all of them. Just felt like we got stuck with the salesman with "no leads for the day". Please note that John Glaser was very helpful and is taking care of the only issue we had still pending. I appreciate him doing the right thing. To end this with rant on a lighter note, It is never good when you purchase a car and the salesman(Adam) couldn't even figure out how to get the tag on the car!!! Wow!!! You know you are dealing with a expert! Thanks for all your time and I appreciate the experience. I am in Sales as well and have reevaluated my sales team after this purchase. Shaun Murphy More
