Poor customer service, don't let the stars fool you. Unfortunately this dealership is not worthy of 4.9 out of 5 stars like their review's claim. I brought my vehicle in to have an alignment done. The next day I received a call saying that, this $180 dollar alignment turned into over a $1900 project. I was informed the bushings and the struts were shot, and therefore the alignment could not be completed. Okay I understand, but I can't afford that right now so I declined the service, and returned to pick up my car. When I arrived I was told my bill would now be $145 dollars. That is over 80% of what the alignment that they didn't complete costs! The service advisor said the mechanics wouldn't have known that the alignment could be done until near the very end. Really? He couldn't see the struts were leaking immediately after it was put on the lift? After debating with a manager who spoke to me like a kid, he reluctantly gave me the regular diagnostic rate of $99. Additionally, he had the gall, to tell me that I don't work for free and neither do their mechanics. Well guess what, Mercedes Benz of South Charlotte, I don't work for free, but I make sure that I don't lose customers for $145. It's too bad that you can't see how much customer service plays a vital role in business. But I guess when you're that stuck up, you don't have to care. More

Service would not even take a look at the vehicle even though a Dodge tech did an initial look and sent me to the Mercedes dealer (the made the time, thank you Hendrick Dodge!). I was told I would need to make an appointment (2 weeks out) and turned away. Disappointed in my first service visit to a Mercedes dealership. Hopefully the next dealership or the one in my home town is better. More

WOW - A great, fast, easy purchase experience! I stopped at the dealership for the end-of-lease inspection on my E350 Cabriolet. Even though I LOVE Mercedes and have owned or leased many of them, I stopped at the dealership for the end-of-lease inspection on my E350 Cabriolet. Even though I LOVE Mercedes and have owned or leased many of them, I had no intention of buying or leasing another one right now because I wanted to lower my payment for the next few years. I was in a hurry, but John asked if I'd give him the opportunity to meet my parameters. Long story short - within 20 minutes we had a deal on a CPO E350 that met my wish list, exactly. Although just a little higher than I wanted my monthly payment, MB of South Charlotte made an attractive deal I couldn't refuse. Two days later, I picked up my car. JOHN GLASER gets super high marks for actually listening to me ("this is my busy time at work ... I can't and don't want to spend a lot of time ...I know exactly what I want …"). Exceptionally refreshing. My single girlfriends are all jealous - they feel the same way about car buying and have never had an experience like mine.
