I’ve always had a good experience with Mercedes of Salem. We met Brian a year ago when we were just starting our search for a Sprinter van. Even though we didn’t purchase one through him, he was very helpful We met Brian a year ago when we were just starting our search for a Sprinter van. Even though we didn’t purchase one through him, he was very helpful and paved our path to our Storyteller Overland van. He’s a great guy and we hit it off immediately. And Eli, I just got off the phone with him, he helped me all set up with the new Mercedes me connect app. He was very polite and professional throughout the call and answered any question I had without hesitation. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. I would recommend anybody to Mercedes of Salem and if they need a Sprinter van, then Brian and Eli are your go to guys. Thanks Mark Patterson More
I've had new cars for years - I'm over 70 - I've had BMW, Mazda, and more. Generally, servicing on a new car is pretty much covered under warranty - with the BMW's (2 I've had) - I didn't spend a dime on se Mazda, and more. Generally, servicing on a new car is pretty much covered under warranty - with the BMW's (2 I've had) - I didn't spend a dime on service for the warranty period - 30,000 miles. This time around, I bought a Mercedes. I liked the car (still do), but the deal I got from them was ... so-so. But my surprise came at the first service call - I was shocked that it was over $200. just a routine oil change, really. Then the 2nd came along - just under a year from purchase - again, just routine service - no repairs or problems - over $400!!!! I like the car, but I'm really feeling screwed by this dealership. So... Warning - if you're used to minimal service charges, as I was - beware. This 'feature' was NOT Explained when I bought the car. And it's a shame, because I really like the car... but... never again. In less than a year, I've spent nearly $700 on a couple of oil changes... It's ridiculous. More
Above and Beyond Expectations Check-in process was efficient and loaner vehicle was ready. Work estimate was only $5 off from the final bill. Overall, a very positive experience. When I turned the loaner in, I forgot to take my garage door opener out. I contacted the dealership (Evan) this morning to ask if they could overnight the controller (at my expense) to me in Albany so I could avoid another drive to Salem. They seemed hesitant, but then they offered me a different solution...I was floored. They drove from Salem to Albany in their courtesy vehicle and dropped the controller off at our front door. Who offers this sort of service anymore? What a pleasant end to what had already been a pleasant experience! More

Good service department, great folks to work with. I purchased my vehicle at this dealership nearly 4 years ago, and was very happy with the transaction. Because it is considered (by Mercedes Benz) to I purchased my vehicle at this dealership nearly 4 years ago, and was very happy with the transaction. Because it is considered (by Mercedes Benz) to be a "commercial vehicle", there are only a limited number or "certified" dealerships that can service it. I tried the one other "commercial vehicle" dealer in my area for a "A" service ... and while they did a good job, the overall ambience and general demeanor, while efficient, was also "cold." Not the case at MB of Salem! I genuinely feel welcomed, and they take careful note of my concerns and address all issues clearly and efficiently. This is important, as my home is more than 60 miles from this dealer, and due to logistics, it's generally necessary for me to wait while my vehicle is being serviced. More
