Thank you for the feedback regarding your recent service visit. I am very disappointed to hear of your dissatisfaction and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss each of the concerns that you communicated. I do recall that we met personally when you first dropped off your vehicle, and we contacted the dealership that had promised you the free oil changes. As you'll recall, they stated that the free oil changes would only be honored at their location - they would not agree to pay us to do that for you. Regarding the axle boots, we did initially expect to be able to replace them, as we do carry them in stock, but upon performing the repairs, it was determined that one of the axle boot repair kits was defective. Unfortunately, a new repair kit did need to be ordered, and this caused a delay that we did not anticipate. I once again apologize for that delay. As per the notes on your repair order, the transmission transfer case fluid is replaced every 40,000 miles. Since your vehicle had 180,000 miles at that time, it actually fell right in between the 160,000 and 200,000 mile intervals at which this would be done. (Also, the transfer case is a separate unit from the transmission - this unit diverts power from the transmission to the front and rear axles.) The slight leak that we found on your transmission would in no way prohibit you from safely driving the vehicle. I can assure you that we would never recommend anything that we felt would jeopardize your safety in any way. Additionally, please be advised that Mercedes-Benz USA recently changed their Roadside Assistance towing guidelines, and I aplogize that this was not communicated to you. Though the Roadside Policy would not allow for reimbursement, I will certainly be happy to honor the commitment made by your Service Advisor to cover your expenses for that tow. As for the suspension concerns, I invite you to bring the vehicle in to our shop so that we may inspect it together and verify exactly which components need replacing. I have read your recent comment on Dealerater.com and I wanted to contact you directly because as a DealerRater.com Certified Dealer we are committed to providing high quality customer service. Based on your DealerRater.com review, I see you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to me, but through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at our dealership. In reviewing Brandon's email to you on December 29th, he clearly stated that "given the Winter Event Programs, and how aggressively my Sales Manager is working, I will meet or even beat any other dealer's written advertised pricing!" When you visited our showroom however, you did not have any published adverised prices that were lower than the offer we made you. In fact, you did not present any advertised prices at all. As I recall, you simply had some figures written on a piece of paper. Here at Lakeview, we honor our commitments, and I commit to you that we will indeed meet or beat any authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer's advertised price. To be fair, one of a kind models are excluded.
