Well I will say to all to make sure you know exactly what price the vehicle is really worth, not what they think it is. I have been dealing with cars since I was young, about 27 years. I was interested in purchasing a vehicle & knew what they gave for the vehicle on a trade in. They jacked the price up $9,000 dollars & was willing to make at least $5,000 on the vehicle when the BANK LOAN VALUE, NADA, KELLEY BLUE BOOK, & EDMUNDS are around $18,000 & below. I made an offer & was told that he would get back with me in which I had to call them back. Then I made a counter offer & was told that he would present it & would call me back in which he didn't because it was not what they wanted in the price. My offer was $2,000 & then $3,000 over what they got in it. Sadly to say being that it is a high end mercedes benz dealer, (woo-hoo) they have to make as much as they can to maintain their reputation. THIS IS A BUYERS BEWARE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE GETTING A GOOD PRICE ON WHAT YOU ARE PURCHASING & PLEASE FIND OUT WHAT THE ACTUAL VEHICLE IS WORTH. DO NOT, DO NOT PAY MORE THAN WHAT IT IS WORTH & PUT MORE MONEY IN THEIR POCKET. I had never been to The Mercedes dealership before and during my experience there, Benjamin had consistently demonstrated a strong personal ethic and a dedication to success in finding the right vehicle. His efforts have produced high quality results which exceeded my expectations. I had been searching for a car for over 1 year but failed because of other salesmen trying to fit me into a vehicle that did not make sense. Benjamin developed and successfully implemented a plan to streamline the process and really explained the benefits of what the Smart-car (Brabus) that I purchased had to offer. The plan was a major undertaking, requiring a great deal of thought, explanation and effort on Benjamin behalf. I arrived at the dealership to look into purchasing a Certified Used Mercedes I was driving a very clean 98 E320. I was the second owner of this vehicle and was very fond of it even though it was gettin Certified Used Mercedes I was driving a very clean 98 E320. I was the second owner of this vehicle and was very fond of it even though it was getting up there in mileage. I viewed a 2007 C280 for what I thought was a good price listed on the website (later I found the same vehicle with less mileage for up to $3,000.00 less) Dale contacted me and I made an appointment to look at it. I asked to look at a couple of used E class vehicles I also saw online but they were not there to view, yet they are still showing online. I ended up purchasing the C class and a couple days after taking the car home I was contacted by Dale telling me that the rate I was approved for and terms did not apply to this vehicle because of the year of the vehicle. Neither Dale nor Robert Tanner told me that at the time of the sale. So even though it was a small amount it did add an addition $17.00 a month to the payment. I can say that Dale worked hard to get this corrected and did get it corrected as they were able to lower the price of the vehicle to adjust the monthly payment back to what I had agreed upon. So I can say that they did work to make it right but I fear if I had just said okay when I was first told there was an increase in the finance percent nothing would have been done to correct it. My overall experience with the staff is very high and I thank them for what they do. But just a warning for those of you who have owned an E class and decide to trade it in, the 98 E class I had far out drove the 2007 C280 I purchased, it was smoother, the engine was quieter, the options made it much more enjoyable to drive. In my opinion the C class is similar to driving an average mid class car and the interior seems more plastic than luxury. But it is what it is a decent car for the price but don’t expect the same experience you had with a higher class Mercedes. More
