I recently purchased my 2010 S550 leased car. The experience was great! The Sales manager, Chip Snyder, helped clear up a purchase option pricing issue which saved me over $500! In addition he provided excellent and invaluable advice on maintenance and other car service options. He and the rest of the Pompano team are first class. I originally leased the car from the Fort Lauderdale Mercedes store which was a very unpleasant experience. Thankfully I stopped by the Pompano dealership for service a few years ago and have only had positive experiences. I enthusiastically recommend the Mercedes-Benz of Pompano dealership! More
Deception! I went in to see the vehicle after confirming that it was still available, but when I arrived I was told a salesman accidentally took the keys home. I was told the vehicle would be driven to my h that it was still available, but when I arrived I was told a salesman accidentally took the keys home. I was told the vehicle would be driven to my house later in the week for a test drive, but that never happened due to a variety of excuses. Neither the salesman nor the Internet sales rep were very responsive after my visit even though they were very quick to reply to my inquiries beforehand. At the end of the week, I finally got a sales manager to admit that the vehicle had been sold a few days earlier. For some reason they wanted to keep me on the hook for a week instead of informing me that the vehicle wasn't available. Perhaps I was their fallback option in case the other deal fell through. In the end they tried to sell me a similar vehicle that was a year older, $4000 more, and in a color that I was not interested in. Wow! I didn't expect the cliched old school "Used Car Salesman" schtick at a Mercedes dealership. I had much better luck at the nearby Infiniti dealership in Coconut Creek. More
Me and my wife came to buy a 2007 Toyota Camry but don't like how the car was driving .Mr Moodie ask us if we see something else we like and saw the ford Taurus 2008 we drive it and it was quiet and s don't like how the car was driving .Mr Moodie ask us if we see something else we like and saw the ford Taurus 2008 we drive it and it was quiet and smooth. Mr Moodie was very professional and helpfull. he listened to us and explained all the paper work . Before processing anything, he made sure we understood everything he had explained to us. Sincerely if I had to buy another car,I would go back to that Mercedes Benz dealership and ask for that same wonderful salesman, Mr Phillip Moodie, to serve me. Fantastic service and customer relations, I switched to this dealership beccause I felt less intimidated, the Ft lauderdale dealership is too stuffy and made me feel like I was unimportant. To be frank I felt like a peasant at the FT L dealership even though my Mercedes was paid in full- maybe its just me; I didn't recieve the best treatment there and switched to Pomapno as I thought thery were more down to earth, so glad I did. Carla went through the entire sales process thoroughly and carefully like a consummate professional. I appreciated her attention to detail as I am sales professional myself and I recognized step by execution which was never clumsly or obtrusive. She went the distance for me and stayed to 45 minutes after closing time of 9 Pm. My experience with her is a case study of profesionalism and dedication based upon honesty, integrity and compassion for the customer. Service manager Ron Williams told me, based upon his experience and miles on my car, that the mechanical timing of my car was off and it would cost $2700 for them to tear my engine apart PLUS parts/labo experience and miles on my car, that the mechanical timing of my car was off and it would cost $2700 for them to tear my engine apart PLUS parts/labor to repair. Had my car towed to a competent mechanic. Mechanical timing was NOT off and repairs were done for under $500. Very unethical way to do business. Do yourself a favor and do NOT have any repairs done here without getting a second opinion from someone who can accurately diagnose your car, not just try to take your money to fix problems that aren't even there! More
