We are sorry that you do not like our new check policy and it is not our intention to offend anyone. While we will still accept checks when a client purchases a vehicle, we have opted not to accept checks for smaller transactions at the dealership like service bills largely because of the number of times we have been defrauded. This decision was not made based on the trustworthiness of any one person, but the collective expense and effort in trying to obtain payment for checks with insufficient funds. As part of our decision to not accept checks for service we made the determination that an overwhelming number of our clients have ready access to either a debit or credit card and are accustomed to similar policies related to the non-acceptance of checks at other retail establishments.
