Even though I was provided a vehicle for the four days my car was in repair, it was an inconvenience for which I feel some form of compensation is due. Hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. First, this is probably one of the nicest and cleanest dealerships in the state. Really cannot begin to describe how helpful and friendly he was, none of the dealers I've talked to came even close to being half as good. I live in San Jose, CA and initially was not even considering on getting a car shipped all the way from Oklahoma City, but Andy was just so willing to work with me through the process and was gave me such an extraordinary price other dealers wouldn't, that I just had to go with him. Got my car delivered yesterday and absolutely love it, definitely found a gem that I would otherwise never have found in California. Andy as a dealer not only very willing to try and get a lower price for me, but also responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. Would have been lost trying to buy a car remotely but Andy as the Internet Sales Manager made it such a painless process, and for this reason I would consider buying from him wherever I am in the US just for the great service and deals he gives. Honestly would highly recommend just dropping him an email or giving him a call on whatever Mercedes car you're interested in, if he happens to have the one you want in his inventory you can be sure he'll give you a great bargain and even better buying experience. Tire Purchase I chose to purchase 4 tires for my 2014 CLA250 from the dealership because the incentive of $150 off the price for four tires made the total cost more I chose to purchase 4 tires for my 2014 CLA250 from the dealership because the incentive of $150 off the price for four tires made the total cost more attractive than from a "tire store". All went well until I got ready to pay for the tires and alignment by check. I was informed by my service advisor the dealership no longer accepted checks as payment. I should note no where on any service advisor's desk was there any notice the dealership did not accept check as payment. The solution offered was (a) pay by credit card or (b) the dealership would drive me to a bank and I could get cash. I wasn't thrilled with option A and option B reminded me of a little boy getting money to buy candy or a toy. Though not thrilled I used my credit card (had I wanted to use a credit card I would have done so in the first place). I wonder what the outcome would have been if I didn't have a credit card, or if my bank was an out of state bank? Put the old tires back on? Now, I must transfer the money from the account I was going to use for the tire purchase to the account I use to pay my credit card statement. I'm not sure if I'll be back for a service work, but if I do, I'll bring cash. More
