Scam Artists! Be aware! I took my S550 AMG for service. One of the problems was a headrest that just didnt move. I had one replaced them about 6 months ago on the driver side. Once I got to pick up my car back from the dealer I find out that they ripped my headrest into 2 pieces and said that I brought the headrest to them just like that and they will not replace under warranty. Headrest was hanging on a wire in 2 pieces when I try to pick up my car. They said they will not replace it while the ripped it in 2 pices and void the warranty. Unreal!!! They will do anything to sabotage a car for you to pay them money. They tried to squeeze in a brake pad change when I knew it wasnt time for them to be changed. More
i am disappointed with the follow up and lack of responsiveness at the dealership. Our company had contracted for three Mercedes (ML 350, S430, GL450) already within the last three years. This is on top of other fleet vehicles from other manufacturers. Jim the owner even told Milton to take care of me. I was looking for a S550 and had a hard time getting call backs and feedback. My brother who had just picked up his GL450 had to call Milton to ask him to take care of me. I did in the end hear from Milton, but when I told him my revised specifications and that my timing for the new car was between December and March of next year, communications dropped off again. I guess he is only interested in selling that week. It is three weeks later now. I ended up purchasing a GL550 from another dealer who serviced me well, and guided me on many questions and issues the way it should be. There are other issues: I wanted to add a hitch to the GL350 we purchased at your dealership. Milton said it was not possible. The other dealer showed me the catalog showing the hitch, gave me a price on the spot. My brother's GL450 has keyless entry in premium package 1 and should have the push button start I believe based on what I have seen elsewhere. This was never installed. After several rounds of negotiations his lease price is the same as the first round, out of the shoot price offered by the other dealer for the equivalent car and package. I ended up upgrading to the GL550, went 48 months, and am paying taxes upfront, but I am paying only $80/mo more for the GL550 versus the GL450 and have every option in the book. We brought the C300 in for a scheduled, discussed and known repair of a mirror. It turns out the parts were never ordered and we had to reschedule and come back again. These are all simple things that make a huge difference. Customers have easy access to information on the internet and otherwise and they also have choice between dealers and manufacturers.
