I live more than an hour from Flemington, but decided to stop in at the Mercedes dealership there to see if they carried a particular vehicle with a unique color. Before even entering the showroom I met the extremely gracious and personable Tony in the parking lot, he warmly welcomed me to the area, and assured me that he had an outstanding salesperson who would assist me in any way possible. That was the understatement of the year!! I was then introduced to Mr. Gerry Leon, who invited me to sit down and discuss my needs with regard to a new car for myself. Explaining that my husband and I do not usually drive each others cars, and therefore it would be me making the choices/decisions for this purchase, he took the time to show me the GL450 that I had expressed interest in and spent all the time that I needed to familiarize myself with the various purchase options. I was so extremely impressed with Gerry that I arrived home and asked my husband to return with me to see the vehicle that I was potentially interested in purchasing. Upon our return, we took a test ride, and once again sat with Gerry to go over the necessary steps in order to move forward. He patiently answered all of our questions, and it was entirely because of him that we made the decision to purchase a car there in Flemington. There are not enough adjectives to describe his attributes! He patiently worked with me to make sure that I understood and received all of the various options on my "wish list" and from that day forward until my car arrived, Gerry kept me updated and informed every step of the way. I was not forgotten after the sale was made, but instead was treated with continuous courtesy and respect. On the day we picked up the new car, Gerry also took the time to introduce us to the various staff there, the receptionist offered us very welcomed cool beverages on a very hot day, and the manager as well took the time to visit with us. I also can't begin to thank Gerry for the tutorial that he gave to us prior to leaving. There was a tremendous amount of information that Gerry carefully took the time to go through with me so that when I drove out of the dealership, I felt very comfortable handling such a very special car! I could not be more thrilled with the GL450 and with the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Flemington. So much so that now my husband is considering a GLK from there as well. In our 40 years of marriage, we have purchased a great many vehicles, shared some of the "interesting" showroom stories with Gerry, and would be very remiss if we did not encourage anyone who is looking for exemplary service in every way from visiting this dealership to witness "excellence" from beginning to end for themselves. Receptionist Barbara Haig makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. She greeted me by my name and immediately offered me coffee. Arthur reviewed the service that was to be performed and offered me the option of taking a loaner car or waiting for the work to be completed. I decided to wait since he assured me it would be done within 2 hours and the dealership has a first class waiting room. The car was ready including a car wash within 1 1/2 hours. Arthur then went over everything that was done and asked if I had any questions. He gave me his business card and told me to call him directly if I needed anything in the future. All dealerships should operate like Flemington Mercedes Benz and employ individuals like Arthur Bongiorno and Barbara Haig. More
