Lacking ethics and integrity I purchased my 335xi new at this dealership, on the BMW side, in 2008. As it was time to upgrade with a growing family I'd been looking online at all dealerships in the area, but found the GL450 we wanted here. We called and scheduled a test drive of the vehicle and to have my car appraised. At this point we've already taken test drives in a new Yukon Denali as well as an Infiniti QX80 so we have multiple appraisals. Knowing full well that trade-in value is never what one expects, the offer from the dealer where I'd originally bought and done much of the service work was 30-50% less than other offers. While I was not happy, this was the vehicle my wife wanted to I continued to work with the client advisors and forwarded the other appraisal per their request. Through telephone conversations and emails, we agreed to a price higher than I liked, but workable with the interest promotion running at the time for Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz. After some discussion with the wife, we agreed to move forward. We called the dealership and spoke to our client advisor, confirmed the vehicle was still there and that the deal plainly written in the email exchange was still valid. We were told to come down to the dealership and we would write up the paperwork. We arrived less than 30 minutes later and our advisor was tied up with another customer. We said no problem, we'd get the vehicle ready and my pregnant wife and I proceeded to clear all personal effects out of my vehicle. We'd just finished and I was starting to remove the ski rack when the sales manager came out, in the dark and in the parking lot, without even inviting us in, rudely pulled the deal off the table and said he'd need an additional $3,500; this was more than the original offer written up by the same sales manager at the first test-drive and appraisal 5 days prior! My wife, an attorney, was incredulous and feels that at least in good faith they should have honored the deal agreed to in writing and legally they should be bound as we had an implied contract; offer made and accepted. I have this offer clearly written in the email. Later that evening I wrote both Steve O., the business manager for MB of Denver, and also to their corporate headquarters, Sonic Automotive, explaining the situation and including said email with the agreed to price stated by the dealership, not me. We have yet to receive even an acknowledgement or an apology. In my business I negotiate in good faith and honor my agreements, both verbal and written. Clearly this business neither adheres to its own creed "...committed to providing our customers with an outstanding automotive experience; delivered with professionalism, integrity and enthusiasm" nor its stated commitments of "Maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct"; both stated on their corporate website. Certainly what my wife and I experienced was not professional and was absolutely without integrity or ethical conduct. I cannot state strongly enough our disappointment regarding Mercedes-Benz of Denver's business practices regarding false agreements, unfaithful negotiating practices, and a clear bait and switch at the close of an agreed to deal. If you're looking for a vehicle, we'd emphatically recommend you take your business elsewhere. I'm regretful that I gave them my business in 2008. More

Service department stated all 4 of my air bags are failing. I have an extended warranty and the warranty company sent a tech to verify the failure. All a scam no air bag issues. It took 1 1/2 weeks to get my car back and they did not address any of the minor issues I requested to be fixed such as my key battery, brake light, and low tire presser. I called the GM several times to address these issues no call back. Its no longer the Murray Motors that I bought my previous two cars from. I will never go back and will suggest to everyone not to do business with them. More

We were greeted promptly at the door, not by a sales person, but that gentleman found us Joey Cravotta right away. Joey sat down with us, asked us what we were looking for in a car, and quickly had a few options in a broad range of prices for us to test out. He was VERY knowledgable on the vehicles, and ultimately won our business. He was not pushy at all, yet very responsive. Joey and his coworkers get our 5-start rating. The only reason I give an overall 4 out of 5 is for the current "under construction" phase of the building. At the moment, the facility itself is not what I would picture a typical Mercedes-Benz dealership to look like. The front desk lady was very nice and accommodating, yet not dressed the part. This is a tough location for a luxury car dealership with all the traffic, tight and busy streets. Hopefully once the new and improved building is finished, the experience of buying a Mercedes-Benz will come full circle. More
Unprofessional I would never again or recommend buying a car from their used car department. If they were a realtor they would of lost their license for disclosure. Painless my eye and they try to give you as little as possible for your trade. Its only painless if you agree to their terms which was higher payments and half for your trade. The only thing that closed the deal is when we started to get up and walk out the door. The deal was fine after some work but is not worth going to them next time around. Their extended warranty department was not very happy either when we turned them down. $2 k for a warranty. If you really want one, you can buy them elsewhere for about the same with better customer service ratings. I have looked into it. The sales person must be making a lot of money off their customers with his google watches and pimped up SUV's. The only person that I though was nice was the sales person. The young man was not tainted yet. More

I bought a car from this dealer last fall and 1-2 months later the check engine light came on, their "service contract" didn't cover the issue, I took it in, had it fixed and 4 months after that, the motor blew while running at high speeds. Once again, their "service contract" didn't cover the motor blow. I reached out for help, the first few times- no response. Finally, after weeks of fighting with Easy Care, I touched base with a staff member who transefered me to the guy who sold me the "peace of mind" service contract.... What a joke! They claim to have done "everything that they could." Clearly, they didn't inspect the vehicle the way that they should have, they didn't offer to remedy the situation in any way. In fact one of the managers who was new informed me that the "tone" that my mechanic and I set with the service contract company set us up for failure from the start.... It's not about us!!!! It's about my car... I kept my end of the bargain... Did they? No! Beware of this dealer and any other Sonic Automotive dealer. I didn't experience from them that they stand behind their cars.... I don't want to see anyone else go through what I did! More

What a terrible experience - do not ever walk in the service bay area ... their doors malfunction, and could unexpectedly smash down on a person. More

The New Corporate Ownership has ruined the dealership I have serviced my Mercedes at Murray Motors and Mercedes of Denver for nine years. I have bought eight cars from the dealership for my family over this period but the love affair has ended. My 2011 ML was brought in for a routine service and I was quoted about $400. My usual service rep had a family emergency and the service rep billed me $750 +. I wrote an email to the new GM to look into this. After four weeks with no reply I resent the email and added that I assume the new corporate enity that bought the dealership has no desire to keep its old customers. Since there has been no reply I have moved on to a new Mercedes dealership as I will not deal with a Chevy dealership that pretends to be a Mercedes dealership.I expect to see baloons on their cars the next time a drive by Mercedes of Denver. More
Why used car salesman have a bad name- From start to finish this was a terrible experience- our sales rep was un knowledgeable and un washed. they quoted me 4.9% on a loan (my bank matched From start to finish this was a terrible experience- our sales rep was un knowledgeable and un washed. they quoted me 4.9% on a loan (my bank matched term at 2.53%) the process culminated with Amos our "sales rep" dodging my calls for half a day while they sold the vehicle to another buyer- I had called him 3 times asking if he had called my loan agent with the title and VIN info and he flat out lied to me- I had to call his manager to get the real story when I was informed he sold the car the day before. they should be ASHAMED to hang a Mercedes sign on the door- bush league, lies and beyond worthless customer experience. acknowledge great dealership service My wife & I visited Denver Mercedes after we spent an afternoon with Littleton Mercedes..we were looking for a Mercedes specifically a 2013 loaner. E My wife & I visited Denver Mercedes after we spent an afternoon with Littleton Mercedes..we were looking for a Mercedes specifically a 2013 loaner. Even though we live 1 mile from Littleton dealership we prefer Denver Mercedes because. 1. they had a 2013 C300 for what we considered an very good price..low miles and nicely equipped. 2. We dealt with Amos in used car Mercedes..what a terrific gentlemen..very knowledgable and easy to talk to. He seemed to listen to what our needs were and was accommodating in directing us to the car we ultimately purchased. 3. In the negotiation process we asked that a few minor cosmetic items be corrected...this was done by the service dept..Hamed? was our contact there..took a few days longer then originally expected but in the end it turned out nicely. Again great service! 4. Since we paid cash for the car we were having the title sent to us directly. Seemed Fedex never delivered the title but, claimed they did. In contacting Murray Mtrs we ended up with Corey as the person that would help us get a duplicate title...She was also very friendly and completed this duplicate title process in a timely manner..Another very nice person. 5. I might also add another person that enhances the customer service experience for Murray Motors is Jeff the young man that gives the new car orientation. 6. I will also give kudos to the dealership mgr who I had a few conversations with during this buying experience. He seems to be a person that is very detail oriented and gets the job done. So, to summarize our new car purchase, we are extremely pleased with Murray Motors and even though it is 15 miles from our house we will have our cars serviced there and look forward to seeing our newly found friends in the process. thank you, Amos, Corey, Jeff, Hamed and the general mgr. signed, Don & Janis Florez More
