Hi Mr. Moline, thank you for taking the time to reach out to us concerning your recent visit. We regret you were unsatisfied with the experience and have looked into the matter. Based on our records, you were looking to purchase a used vehicle, which we explained to you we do not discount. You requested a warranty quote, and as it was a certified car, my finance manager was new and regrettably quoted the wrong warranty. We requoted the warranty as a CPO and it was a little more expensive, so we offered to absorb the difference and charge you the same price as the first quote. The car subsequently sold the next day, so we offered you other cars, which you refused. It is disappointing that you feel so strongly about our store, so we would like to assure you we treat all of our guests fairly and pride ourselves in our transparency. If there is a way we can assist you in locating the perfect car at a price you are satisfied with, we would be more than happy to do so. Mercedes-Benz of Denver

See the dealerships response above, which is factually incorrect. I was NEVER quoted a CPO official Mercedes warranty. The dealership tried to pass off "Chuck and Bob's" limited style warranty, which in fact was more expensive than the CPO warranty, which I only knew because I asked a different dealership. The car did sell the subsequent day, but this would have not been an issue had I been given the correct warranty quote from the beginning. I was given no comparable option - only cars that were not similarly built, and at $5000+ more expensive. Finally, the idea that your F&I manager was new and didn't know the right warranty is laughable. F&I manager is one of the highest paid positions at any dealership, and to suggest that it was a training error is borderline hilarious. Evidently I'm not the only one who feels strongly about the treatment at this dealership, considering the 2/5 and plummeting rating. To those reading, I'm not sure why the dealership lists pricing as some concern - I asked if the car was under "one price" programs, and was told yes. That was it. It was the dealership who continued to suggest my ability to afford the car may not be there by saying words like "let's see if we can make the number work!" - payment was a nonissue. And finally, I "feel strongly" about your dealership because it has been my life's dream to own a Mercedes-Benz car, and when I finally was able to make it happen, your dealership treated me worse than some slimy Dodge dealership selling trucks - trying to pull classic car salesman scams, like telling me I have to buy the glass protection package, telling me how wonderful your 3rd party more expensive warranty is, and so forth. If you're selling high end cars, act like it.
