Consider what I was expecting and what it took for me to get the car it was an all around great experience. The sales man (Ray) who helped me out was very patient and willing to help every step of the way. I live in NYC and was willing to take the trip out there for the car so you can comprehend how much I wanted the car. He noticed how bad I wanted it and made me his priority customer considering other people were showing up in person asking to buy it. He worked with me to get all the paperwork finished within a weeks time while the finance team helped find a bank for the loan. I told them that I would be taking a flight out there to pick it up for the weekend to return to work Monday and they agreed they'll be working there hardest since the car needed a piece for a turbo changed and making the aesthetically ready for the long trip I was taking back in it. When I arrived in Colorado I received a call that the car wasn't going to be ready till the next day and I was devastated but considering I was a long ways from home they committed to doing their best to have it running by the end of the day. I toured the city and decided to walk there from the nearest train station 8 miles away. While I was 25 Minutes away I received a call to come by that the car was then in good running condition. I tell you these people go above and beyond. Although it was a long wait time at the show room that I spent while the car was being detailed before they closed up it was an overall great experience. Even months after when the NY DMV got careless and misplaced my paper work I called the dealership to confirm it was sent to the DMV and it was sent to the right one they sent me a second temp plate to help me avoid any tickets or complications. Efficient, Professional, and friendly staff. The entire building was clean and cozy. Highly recommend the brand and the business at this location. Amongst other time consuming task in our lives buying a car may be one of them and doing our part in being patient and reasonable will make the process less stressful than it needs to be. More
To keep this short. We live overseas, but are relocating back to the States. We need several cars. Found a GLB in the color we liked. We finally connected about an hour later. We ended the call by asking what we needed to do to move this deal forward. We were willing to pay cash as financing from Europe might not have been that easy. The sales person was going to talk to the finance people just to make sure and get back to us. Much to our chagrin, we never heard back from the salesman, even though we had given him our emails, European phone numbers, and U.S. phone numbers. And even worse, they sold the car 6 hours later to someone else and never bothered to contact us. The salesman should have at least had the courtesy to inform us that the car had been sold. He possibly could have kept us as customers by at least offering to make some sort of amends, but he has not. More
This place deserves no stars. I spoke with a salesman and he invited me down to look at a C43 AMG. He later texted me and said he looked forward to meeting me on Tuesday. I loaded up my car into the hauler, sent him a message and headed down that way. When I get there, he is off on Tuesday’s. He never responded to my message that I was on the way. I work with a another gentleman who was very nice but could not access any internet in the store to search for other cars. While he was trying to figure it out, I go to the restroom where one of the mechanics was hanging out in a stall. Come to the sales floor, no internet yet so I leave The next day the salesman calls and apologizes and says he will make it up to me and find the car I wanted. A week later, no call back. I call the sales manager, he apologizes for the error and will call me back by the end of the day. Well three days later and no call. Do not even waste your time going here. if my staff worked like this, I would fire them al! More

I know for a lot of people (including myself)....going to a car dealership can be just about as bad as going to the dentist and having teeth pulled. At least this has been my experience in the past. That WAS until I decided to check out Mercedes-Benz of Denver. I'd like to take the time to share my experience with you. Over this weekend, I was able to do business with this absolutely stellar car dealership. My first interaction was when I first called the dealership and was lucky enough to make contact with Dr. Tony Upton. There was a very specific vehicle that I wanted to inquire about. While on the phone, Tony provided me with the information I was requiring and set up an appointment for me to meet with him the following day. Upon entering this absolutely beautiful and clean dealership, I was welcomed warmly by everyone I came in contact with. The minute I met Tony, I just knew this was going to be a fantastic experience. And I wasn't disappointed. Within minutes of arriving at the dealership, Tony had the vehicle that I was coming to see pulled up at the front and we quickly took it for a test drive. When getting back to the dealership, the appraisal process for my vehicle began. While waiting, I had a list of questions that I asked Tony regarding my potential purchase. He answered them fully and with documented proof. He took the time to comb through the CarFax with me, recall notices, etc. Within minutes, I received the appraisal for my trade in. The offer was no nonsense and very fair. The acceptance and purchase process began at that point. Everything was handled by Tony. He continued to be willing to answer any and all questions that I had. Various protection products were offered to me and were explained in depth by Tony. Never felt like he was just trying to sell me anything. One important fact that I failed to mention -- the car that I was coming to see was NOT a Mercedes. Tony was aware of this, knew my needs and objectives -- didn't try to sell me an alternative vehicle at all. His primary objective was to make sure that I was getting everything that I wanted. In the sales office, I was fortunate enough to work with Max. Once again, extremely professional, well organized, knowledgeable, and respectful of my time. Once again, I never felt like I was being "sold" something that I didn't want or need. It was a no pressure interaction that maybe lasted 15 minutes. In my lifetime, I have bought and traded NUMEROUS vehicles and have visited dozens and dozens of car dealerships. When I say that doing business at Mercedes-Benz of Denver while working with Tony Upon (Sales) and Max (Finance) was the best...I mean it was the ABSOLUTE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! At no point did I ever feel like just some guy buying a car. I felt valued, respected and listened to. These guys treated me like they would treat their family, I have no doubt about that. From now on, when shopping for a vehicle whether a Mercedes or a different Pre-Owned brand, I will 1000% look in the direction of this dealership and will seek to work with Tony and Max over and over and over again. I absolutely recommend that YOU consider doing the same. Tony and Max...if you are reading this...I want to thank you guys so much for everything. If I could give you two a 100-star rating, I would in a heartbeat. Five stars just isn't good enough for the stellar service that you have provided me with. Purchased a cpo out of state and the car was not up to par with what was promised! The vehicle was sold with a broken windshield, old tires,vents broken on the inside, service was not done on the car,and par with what was promised! The vehicle was sold with a broken windshield, old tires,vents broken on the inside, service was not done on the car,and above of all the car was filthy with animal hair,. took the vehicle to my local dealership and I they complained and were surprised that MY VEHICLE WAS A CPO and was not supposed to be sold like that.. was expecting a great experience for purchasing an cpo so I wouldn't have to worry about those minor used car details..but this felt like purchasing an piece of junk from an auction rather than a CERTIFIED car.. so if this review makes it to the CEO OF SONIC AUTO GROUP, your team in this dealership are ripping people off!! I won't hide like people do on reviews, so I know Karma will handle this for me since the MANAGER AND GENERAL MANAGER DECIDED NOT TO TAKE CARE OF THIS.. I JUST WANTED WHAT WAS PROMISED NOTHING MORE! I purchased a vehicle in July and paid cash. It’s been almost 4 months and they can not provide me a title to me car. The car was totaled 2 months ago and the insurance company will not settle with me bec almost 4 months and they can not provide me a title to me car. I have made dozens of attempts to call this dealership by phone and email to resolve my issue. They Do Not Care! I have been in a rental car for 1 1/2 months now (At My Cost!!!) as I wait for a title that I should have been provided months ago. I have spoke to their title clerk Terri Boucher time and time again to resolve this issue, she doesn’t care and won’t handle her job. I have even asked to speak with the General Manager several times to resolve my issue and can’t get a simple call back. This is a very poorly run dealership that will cause you severe problems down the road. Save yourself a major headache and do business with a reputable dealer, obviously Not here! More
