The experience of purchasing a certified pre-owned Mercedes at Mercedes-Benz of Denver has been the absolute worst car buying experience of my life. This dealership, a Sonic Corporation-owned store, i Mercedes at Mercedes-Benz of Denver has been the absolute worst car buying experience of my life. This dealership, a Sonic Corporation-owned store, is run extremely poorly. The staff apparently are hand-picked for being inefficient, confused, rude and difficult to work with. My experience tells me the very top of the dealership, the GM, is the main reason this organization operates the way it operates. As a remote collector/buyer, I buy several cars a year and sell a few so I know how to deal with dealerships across the nation and how to make things work, from reasonably negotiating to taking care of my end of the bargain and recognizing those who go the extra mile to meet goals. My purchase experience here dragged on for over 2 months, as strange as that may sound, due to very poor communication at every level of the organization, misrepresentation at multiple occasions, untrained and unhappy staff (who also have no respect for the leadership), inefficiencies in nearly every department, and the unwillingness by the GM of the dealership to, first, understand and accept problems and, next, to either fix the problems, compensate for the shortcomings, or at the minimum apologize. It’s sad that the leadership of this organization has no idea what customer service is, has a difficult time reading more than a paragraph, is clueless about how human beings should communicate (politely and respectfully and apologetically, even if they don’t agree with customer’s point of view), and how to go the extra mile to make things right. As a result, after more than 2 months of the dealership holding on to my money, the deal had to be reversed and all the time and effort spent at my end and theirs were completely wasted. Overall, if I could rate the experience 0-stars, I would as even 1-star is hard to justify given the colossal waste of time and the damage caused to my sanity! More
I can't express how pleased I am with the entire experience from beginning to end with my new lease. I went into the dealership where she set me up with Mark McGinnis and I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with! He was so kind, respectful, professional, empathetic, a great listener.. and not pushy! He made me want to work with him and I will choose him every time and refer people to him as well. His kind personality was a pleasure to work with in an already somewhat stressful situation. He truly elevated the stress, was funny and truly cared about my experience as a customer and making me happy! Last but not least Jeff the finance person. After a long 6 hour stay at the dealership, Jeff was a breath of fresh air as well. I didn't want to have to fight any last battles, I wanted to simply sign paperwork and get out of there! Jeff made the process quick, efficient and pleasant! His personality was also kind and patient. He too had been sitting dealing with back to back customer's and he gave me just as much patience and respect as he did the first customer of the day. The whole experience was so pleasant that it actually changed my opinion about this dealership entirely! When I came to the Denver Mercedes Benz the first time the experience was a terrible one. I truly disliked my salesman, he did not communicate a thing to me nor did he show me every feature of my new car like Mark did! Mark spent a ton of time with me which I am so grateful for. The finance person at the time was rude and unpleasant and made a mistake on my registration forms (put my name incorrectly) and told me it didn't matter how it appeared. All 3 people that I dealt with saved the sale.. and I am happy to have done business here and will continue to do so!! More

They were helpful in providing transportation so that I could pick up my vehicle. However, they scheduled my pickup for after the car had been detailed. When I picked up the car it had not even been wipe could pick up my vehicle. However, they scheduled my pickup for after the car had been detailed.
