Made service reservation online but needed to call the dealership to book a loaner as it wasn't available through the app. Took a long time for basic annual service. Brought car in on Wednesday at 9am and it wasn't ready till Friday morning. Never received any phone call, emails or text about when my car would be ready. Only got an update when I called the dealership at 5pm on Thursday. Process at the dealership was slow. Waited too long when I arrived to be taken in. Waited too long to meet with the loaner specialist. Many service people at the dealership not wearing masks. My service rep was good. The rest of the experience was not what you expect from a Mercedes dealership. My previous car was a Jaguar. Their service process was exceptional. Night and day. More
I brought my vehicle here for service they let people steal the car and tried making a joke out of it . They also made me sign a form saying they’re not responsible and tell me they thought one of there steal the car and tried making a joke out of it . DONT GO HERE! My sister went on vacation and left her Mercedes here in there hands to fix up some parts inside the car. She gets a call saying her car got stolen and don’t know who stole it nor can find Mercedes here in there hands to fix up some parts inside the car. They’re making a joke about it and telling her to deal with the police! This is messed up and I hope they get sued because she trusted them with her car and they have the audacity to say somehow it gets stolen and they can’t tract it down and find it yeah okay how does that make any sense! WARNING DONT TRUST THEM AND REPORT THIS SHE NEEDS TO SUE THEM AND FIND HER CAR OR GIVE HER ANOTHER ONE SHE LOST ALL HER BELONGING AND WORKED HARD FOR THIS JUST TO GET IT STOLEN! More
Service is absolutely terrible. They don’t answer the phone, do not call you back and clearly do not care about any commitment they make. And management clearly doe not care. I call in several time asking for any copies of my cars old service invoices and they said they be glad to do it . My experience with Mercedes of Delray was below par in comparison with my experience with my normal Mercedes dealer in Miami. In essence, my problem is really with the TERRIBLE method of using an offsite comparison with my experience with my normal Mercedes dealer in Miami. In essence, my problem is really with the TERRIBLE method of using an offsite call center to manage communications with the dealer. I had to go to Delray because I had a tire blow out far from home, I had to get towed and in trying to find inventory, I was led to believe that I was calling the local dealer when in fact I was calling a call center who checked inventory on the system, indicated the tires were there but suddenly even they couldn't get through to the dealer to verify. THIS IS A 100% FAIL!!!! I am used to the concierge service of a luxury vehicle dealer...I'm sure I don't need to state that we are talking about Mercedes, not Toyota! Since I had a blowout, I tried calling Mercedes roadside assistance and no one picked up. I wound up paying for the tow myself. While waiting for the tow, I kept calling the call center and they said as long as you get there before 6 pm, I'll be able to get the service taken care of the same day. Every statement made by the call center was false! The reason for this is that there is no way of communicating with the local service center. Again...for a luxury vehicle the bar should be MUCH HIGHER!!!! Once at the dealer, I was informed that all the service techs went home and there's no way of doing work. The tires I wanted wouldn't be available for three days. Since my car was already at the dealer at that point, I had no choice but to leave the car and wait for a call the next day on when the work could be done. I was informed that the only way to get the car done that day would be to take an alternate selection. Inferior in my opinion, but that's a personal choice. In the end, the tires are fine. I will say, Glen and then his partner Stacy handled the appointment well. However, the overall experience was completely tainted by the communication method that MERCEDES has chosen to adopt. FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! More
