I love this dealership, my first occasion to visit was to bring a friend of mine to purchase her Mercedes (she was in love with mine). Thought service installation fee was a little high for items that I bought there. These should have been on the car from the start. (Mud flaps). Service discount was not even applied. Our 2009 ML developed an ABS braking problem on our way south on interstate 95 – a wheel sensor as it turned out. When a wheel sensor fails, other systems slowly shut down, and by the time we reached Dayt south on interstate 95 – a wheel sensor as it turned out. When a wheel sensor fails, other systems slowly shut down, and by the time we reached Daytona Beach, FL, and stopped for a break, the car would not shift out of first gear. We pushed the “magic” button and immediately reached Road Side Assistance. A tow was arranged, and we were put in contact with the local MB dealer. Turns out the local dealer was across the street from where we parked, so we cancelled the tow, called the dealer and slowly drove to the location. It was nearly 6:00PM on a Saturday, at which time the dealership locks the door, but Roger Williams, a sales representative at Mercedes Benz of Daytona Beach agreed to stay to help out. Understand – at this point, we are still 140 miles from our destination. Roger arranged a loaner vehicle, started the service paperwork, helped us repack and we were on our way. Later we were introduced to Michael Iafanti, our Service Advisor at MB of Daytona Beach who attended to the repairs and extended warranty paperwork. We have had little need for Road side Assistance since owning the car, and have had little experience with the service. So we were thrilled with the level of care and attention provided by the “magic” button. But more importantly is what’s going on with MB in Daytona Beach. We are not customers of MB Daytona Beach, but were received as if we were, and treated like family. There is a level of care, personal attention and professionalism exhibited by this dealership that should be recognized. These people are an integral part of the Mercedes promise, but I believe have exceeded most all standards. Please assure that they understand just how much we appreciate what they do for MB owners, and what they did for us. More
Christopher Dallhoff was very polite, thorough in his explanations, and family-oriented. He was staightforward but very personable at the same time. A few years ago Pat Buckley worked hard to earn my business and my trust. He has a warm and kind demeaner and he is generous with those things that make your service experience extremely pleasant. I live in St Augustine, I will never again patronize any other (closer) mercedes dealership for service of my ML350 or for future purchases. Tim was very courteous, and helpful to me about things that I did not know about my car, such as it has a deflatable tire in the trunk with pump, and how the two batteries operate the car. More
I was on vacation in Daytona for a few days, the car I needed service for was a rental. The rental company would not help me (I started @ 8 am that morniing) got in touch with road side assitance and the needed service for was a rental. The rental company would not help me (I started @ 8 am that morniing) got in touch with road side assitance and they sent a tow truck times two. got me to the dealer to be informed that the rental company needed to give permission to order a key for the car (all my luggage was locked in the trunk with the keys.) Now here I am not sure where I am at a car dealer and not sure how I was gonna get back to my hotel. Not sure how long I was going to be stuck in florida, we were heading home on that Wednesday it Is Monday. The staff said they would work with me (now I am thinking of the expense of key that I will never need again. But bear said to wait a few minutes to see what he could do. He was able to get the car trunk open. Tim made my day by not charging me for any service again this was only a rental and they did not have to go out of their way to help. I recieved many phone calls to check on me after the service. My husband and I rented the car to test it to see if we would like it and we did, after all the help we received when we are ready to but a new care which is soon I plan on flying back to Daytona and by the car from this dealer More
