I love my Mercedes S-550. But, when I bring my cars to the service department I am charged unbelievable rates for parts. I have saved hundreds of dollars going to outside vend But, when I bring my cars to the service department I am charged unbelievable rates for parts. I have saved hundreds of dollars going to outside vendors who deliver the exact same product. Just because you can afford to drive in luxury does not mean you like throwing money out the window. Almost 800.00s to change spark plugs that cost 34.00s each is a bit much! Tires for 600.00s when you can get the same tire for 300.00s down the road is another example. More

Customer service was excellent. RJ was assigned as my service represenataitve and he did an outstanding job keeping me informed on status and next steps. My car repair situation was likely an anomaly for the repair team. I reside out of state and determining the root cause of an elusive electrical problem was a challenge. Add in the unforeseen inconveniences of 2 subsequent brake downs after the 1st service repair attempt the week after Thanksgiving, RJ was always helpful and followed up when he said he would. Nadia was also supportive and did intervene to speak with me after 2 unsuccessful repair attempts. She ensured me that they would find the problem and she delivered to her commitment. The second trip back to retrieve my vehicle, was on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the vehicle did not start. Upon my request, Brittany Hope helped to estimate the value of the vehicle. She said she would call me after the weekend to provide a bid for the vehicle. She called on Monday as promised. She was kind and empathetic to my situation. At the end of the day, the fact that it took 3 attempts to finally address the root cause of the problem (determined to be the ignition switch), translated into time and extra cost of me traveling to Columbus, Ga from South Florida on 2 additional occasions. That resulted in additional car costs, airline tickets, hotel, etc.not mention time/business impacts for the 2 additional visits), It was disappointed and confused that it took a Mercedes dealership/service department three attempts to find this root cause. However, The customer service experience I had with all the individuals I interacted with was excellent. Every one was professional and respectful. Thank You Russell Durrance More

Bought my s550 from Columbus even though I have a MB dealer within a few miles and so glad. Best people to deal with from Sales to Service.
