Mercedes-Benz of Chantilly responded

Client brought car in after being involved in a rear-end collision. A safety feature of the car called Pre-Safe had been activated because of the accident moving the headrests in a position to help prevent whiplash. Sensors in the bumper were damaged in the accident preventing the dealership from simply resetting the headrest. Sensors needed to be replaced in the bumper first by a body shop before any reset of the headrests could occur. Simply resetting the headrest would prevent the safety features from functioning properly and could pose a safety risk to our client. This explanation was provided to the client but he still wanted the headrest reset which was not possible due to the reasons stated above.

Client's frustration was with certain features of the car- all performed as designed by Mercedes-Benz as verified by our technicians. Many attempts were made to explain features of the car. Many options were presented to client and all were declined. We're disappointed that this client is not satisfied. Our goal is to make sure all of our clients are completely satisfied with their purchase. In this instance we fell short, but believe we made every reasonable effort to satisfy this client.

Your second response is a prime example of your tactics, it was not enough that you did not stand behind your promises in the past but now you change what you even had written and write slanderous comments. My frustration was not with certain features it was with features that did not work & when you attempted to fix them something else went wrong. I do have documentation from your tech stating that. The attempts to explain the features were excuses to why the features did not work & you’re waiting for MB to come up with a fix. Also you have forgotten to mention that the options that were presented and were accepted but you went back on your word. If you were truly disappointed that your client was not satisfied you would not try a second attempt to slander your client with such remarks. In this instance you did not only fall short, but you just proved your indifference to everyone. Needless to say I can get rid of the car when the time comes but the stigma of bad Management & customer relationship will be with you for a long time. I will be going back to Jaguar, or BMW but will never go back to Mercedes.
