Below is a terrible experience in detail with this location. My advice would be to stay away from this location and their service center specifically. I would urge anyone to think twice before working with Milton and Karen Hernandez. I have been coming to this location for about 6 years, and the tysons location for about 5 years prior to that. Our most recent visit to this location with Milton and Karen Hernandez was easily the worst experience/exchange in terms of customer service. We made an appointment weeks in advance, and made sure to request and confirm a loaner vehicle, to bring our car to be checked out since the check engine light turned on. My father, who is 73 went to drop the car off at 7am. He was told there were no loaner vehicles and he would be put in a Lyft back home and brought back when the car was ready. He was told it would take 2 hours, at most 3, verbatim. 6 hours later my father called Milton to check on the progress of the car and Milton proceeded to SHOUT at my father saying they're busy, the car is not ready, and if he wants it he can just come and pick it up himself. At this point I had landed back home from a work trip and called Milton myself from the airport. He denied any wrongdoing or claiming to state the car would only need a couple of hours. He also ordered me a Lyft back home since it was my car that was at the dealership. (only good part of this experience). About 30 minutes after that initial call, we received a full report on the car with a $8,000 required fix. I declined the fix because I wanted to get a second opinion before making such a request. My 73 year old father then went to pick up the car, and he was told, extremely rudely, by Karen Hernandez, that he had to pay around $170/$180 for the check that was done on the car. We have been customers of Penske Mercedes for about 11 years now, and not once, not ever, have we ever been asked to pay for a check up on any of our cars. At this point I spoke to Karen on the phone and said we will not be paying the the fee since we were never told about it, not before, and certainly not on the day we dropped the car off. She then proceeded to say 'the car is old and it is now out of warranty, this is how our employees get paid' - and I said that is fine, but you cannot charge a customer without ever communicating that there is a charge, especially since historically, for 11 years, we have never been charged such a charge. Karen then said 'well then I wont give you the keys and you are not getting the car back until the charge is paid'. At this point I asked my father to speak to a manager. They spent some time looking for a document they claimed he signed agreeing to pay, going as far as looking in garbage bins. Only to come back and hand him the keys because they realized they never asked him to sign anything, and they looked through his account and saw he has never been charged for a check up. This experience changed the way we view Penske and Mercedes Benz of Chantilly forever. Sadly, we were on the cusp of purchasing a new car and this experience has insured we will never purchase another car from Penske Mercedes Benz Chantilly or Tysons. I have started to grow suspicious of this location because I brought my car for a full check up before my factory warranty expired, at least 3 times within the last few months of it being active. We were always told the car is in perfect condition, sometimes despite a few complaints. Within less than 30 days of the warranty expiring, several issues started to come up. I was very suspicious of the timing because how can so much damage accumulate over such a short period of time with no increase in usage or drivers. Within months. More

They did 2 hard pulls on my credit, said they would hold the vehicle for me and I put a $2000 deposit on the vehicle. After doing this they then call me and say the vehicle has been sold and they only have the vehicle for me and I put a $2000 deposit on the vehicle. After doing this they then call me and say the vehicle has been sold and they only have the 2019 available but can not give me any deals on the 2019 even though they messed up this transaction and hurt my credit for nothing. Ronnie was very committed to look for the car that accommodated our needs. He followed up with us several times when he saw a car that we may like. And he found it. I had a fantastic experience with Mercedes Benz of Chantilly. I have been searching for a GLB 250, ideally a 2022 pre-owned, but soon realized many of the pre-opened that were dealer cars either came Chantilly. I have been searching for a GLB 250, ideally a 2022 pre-owned, but soon realized many of the pre-opened that were dealer cars either came with no power seats or no power sunroof. I was disappointed until Zabed (the very friendly dealer) showed me a 2023 that had mostly everything I wanted and not too far out of my budget. What I also appreciated was that the vehicle‘s price was not marked up higher than the MSRP. I saw the same car at another dealership for $5K more than the MSRP. I also received the highest offer for my trade-in. The financing process was incredibly smooth, honest, and transparent. The only wish I had was to experience the navigation system in the car, but that’s a small thing in comparison to the overall car. I would certainly return for future purchases. More
